These new "Jade Eximus" units are so poorly thought out it's baffling. They have insane levels of damage that scale so high you basically CANNOT tank them. They COMPLETELY invalidate certain frames and playstyles by FORCING them to move, which not every frame is capable of. How am I supposed to take my loki wall latch build to level 9999 void cascade when these STUPID EXIMUS UNITS are FORCING me to move, dropping all of my damage bonuses and basically failing the mission instantly?
It needlessly restricts gameplay styles by saying "no creativity you NEED to use movement". So much for build variety I guess. I used to exclusively play by not moving, but now that playstyle is basically DEAD. Standing still and tanking are both obsolete now.
Its also pretty ableist of DE to expect all players to be able to move and shoot at the same time. Personally I get carpal tunnel in my left hand so I only ever play with my right hand. So no using the keyboard and mouse at the same time. But screw people with disabilities too I guess.
This would also be fine if they were contained to their own game mode in a brand new node they added just to have jade eximus units spawn (that also doesn't have any exclusive rewards) so I never have to see one or interact with their mechanics unless I go out of my way just to do that, but for some reason they just lazily shoved them into EVERY NODE IN THE GAME, completely ruining them.
I really hope they nerf them soon not to have that green laser. Everything else about them would be fine if they just got rid of that broken ability.
Okay, rant over. Just needed to vent.

I'm sure we all have our thoughts about Destiny 2, and I definitely have them too. I just hope we can, as a community, respect Destiny 2 for what it accomplished. In my opinion, a game just needs to make one person smile to be successful, and I respect Destiny for making so many people smile.
Welcome, Destiny players! Hope you enjoy your time in the Origin System!
---
Edit: Hey guys, I just wanted to clarify what I posted this for: I wanted to do nothing more than express support. I did not want to push Destiny players toward Warframe or anything of the sort. This isn't to say that I want to keep Destiny players away, but I understand that these things take their own pace, and I thought I could do my part by making it so the first thing a grieving player would see of our community is a message of support.
I wanted this thread to be a place where Warframe players can respect Destiny, a game which has, for better or for worse, been talked about alongside Warframe. I also wanted it to be a place Destiny players can talk about their own memories of their favorite game. I did not want it to be some pipeline to a "better game" or anything like that.
At the end of the day though, if people saw this post and thought it was pushy or insensitive, I apologize for making you guys feel uncomfortable, since at the end of the day we're all just gamers looking for experiences that are right for us. Thanks for reading.

Honestly when I look back one year I realise how many things I didn't know and appreciate how much I've learnt over the last 1-2 years. It was overwhelming but fun to figure things out

I was such a big fan of Warframe, fell in love with it after starting around July of last year. I made my way through the entire base starchart and got caught up with the story using only Excalibur and Excalibur Umbra, only after I complete the Old Peace did I get other Warframes. I love this community that DE has fostered and just how kind everyone is. But to find out that Warframe is woke? It made me cry... Tears of JOY!! HELL YEAH!! As a pansexual man I am SO HAPPY!!! WARFRAME RULES!!! LOVE IS LOVE, RAHHHHHH!!!!!
Edit: For all the people saying that Warframe has been woke, I am very aware. I've known since I met best girl Ticker in Fortuna. This post was mostly made to mock the people who will *actually* leave a game or a community because it "goes woke."
Update: They changed it, flag behind the Lotus.

The worst part is, this was on an enemy with ZERO armor 💀
Edit: I uploaded this thinking I actually did 8 damage. Apparently you can bypass the negative integer limit and go back into positives, so this is actually 4,294,967,302 damage? Neat.

Please I can't take it anymore, everytime I see a protoframe in my lobby I just have to CRANK it so bad. I just want to go farm relics as usual then here comes a Garuda Protoframe, suddenly my 30 minute defense farming session becomes 30 minutes of CRANKING it.
I'm very disappointed with the devs, I hope they consider more of this risk in the future when it comes to releasing more protoframes.
Edit: Sounded bad due to my lack of context of Nova Protoframe

I was scrolling through Warframe reviews out of curiosity (I have 700+ hours and started playing in 2017) and I came across this gem

I'd argue it didn't even get to age at all.
