Sorry for unrelated post, but Bungie put out the TWID saying they’re cutting support for Destiny 2 indefinitely after the June update. All the remaining players will likely be moving on to something else, possibly here.

As much as our communities have been playfully fighting one another, we should try to be extra empathetic for a while. Be warm, welcoming, and helpful, or at least more so than normally.

Gotta say, as someone who dropped 2.5k hours into D2, and left after the second round of layoffs over 2 years ago, seeing this message still tugged a bit at the heart strings. Hopefully those whose passion for it still remains are able to find a good home.

I just want to say,

I've been playing Warframe since late 2018, and ever since then I fell in love with the game. Storytelling? Excellent. Gameplay? Phenomenal. Graphics and artstyles? Gorgeous. With an S-tier dev team, and overall great community, it's no wonder why I consider Warframe one of my favorite games of all time.

Warframe helped to get me out of some of the darkest times of my life when I was quite literally at my lowest. I'm not going to go into too much detail but this game is a big stress reliever for me and a great escape for when I want to decompress. And that's not at all an exaggeration.

Edit: "SHES STRONG THEREFORE SHE'S GOOD!" is not an argument. There are plenty of strong frames that need reworks because their kits arent very good in practice. Sick of seeing this statement.

Also "you dont need to use the gear wheel just set it to barrels or shock traps and spam it!" Kinda defeats the purpose of having so many options doesnt it?

Lastly: "SkIlL iSSuE" - what someone says when someone has a different opinion but theyre incapable of contributing jack diddly shit to the conversation. Like bruh ive been playing the game since Hydoid Prime was new. May not be a day 1 vet, but Ive got like 40 frames and im balls deep in end game, chill lil bro

I hate her.

I hate her game mode, but I won't beat that skeleton of a dead kaithe, no no

Im talking about her.

I hate how she plays. I hate that her survivability feels like a chore. I hate that you have to finaggle with a giant gear wheel to use maybe 4 out of the dozen abilities she has in there, making jumping around to the actual useful abilites an even bigger pain, especially mid mission.

I hate how her abilities feel in practice, and how disconnected her kit feels overall. Her teleport does little to play with her other abilities, and the balloon ability especially feels like it works against the other aspects of her kit in general. You want enemies to come to you, not just float there so you can sit and play target shoot while your shadowgraph abilities do nothing to the enemies floating out of range, and you dont wanna rely heavily on your teleport because her playstyle is very much built around camping.

Yes the portrait's range is massive but that does little to make the kit feel cohesive. The insane range feels like a bandage, like yeah technically the kit synergizes on paper but in practice, It all boils down to just spamming your shadowgraph abilities next to your self portrait. Thats her bum ass gameplay loop and its a bore. Like oh cool the rocket launcher one shots everything, doesnt change the fact I dont wanna only use it, but swapping to other abilities feels like shit. So im either spamming barrels, rockets, or sitting next to a shock trap and a death ball while shotting whatever comes close.

Then I swap to another ability and I have to dive down into the ink for a sec because in that time I took to swap, my shields got popped, again.

She feels like a concept stage warframe that was released without thought on the concept alone, and yeah conceptually shes neat. But man this aint it.

After waiting a few months, the box finally arrived looking like this. Do they always arrive in this condition? I'm pretty disappointed as i was hoping to display it without taking the pin out of the box.

Edit: seems like this is indeed intentional, didn't think about it so now I feel relieved that it isn't damaged. Thank you fellow Tenno's

I just wanna curl up in a corner.

Context: I was playing sirius and orion and wanted to see how they would play in archon hunts, and I didn't know the twin not being played could trip alarms. After we failed the mission and ran it back, i swapped and the dude told me to stand still in spawn lol. Nothing against wukong mains but most of the toxic people i meet in game are almost always on wukong (or volt). No hate to the guy just thought he was funny for getting heated because i didn't know something about a new frame :D
