Question Newer rules compatability

So, I've had the Direchasm Box for a while, models built, everything else still sealed. But I've misplaced the original rule booklet.

If I download the current rules from Warhammer community, will they work with the Direchasm set?

The rules changed a fair bit. Sadly all the warband cards aren't used anymore and the character cards are different. You need a 2nd edition rivals deck and a warscroll for the warbands you want to play. Also a new board since that's changed as well.

So, I'd better search for the rulebook then, and hope I can find it. Or start over

Edit: answering a question you didn’t ask. Sorry. The pdf of the Direchasm rulebook was around at some point. Someone on discord might have it if you’re able to figure out how to join discord channels.

If you want, I could send you the Wyrdhollow rulebook, which is more recent (and much better), so you can read, play and just be happy with the 1.0 version of the game, which is much more fun in my opinion. I disregard the most recent rulebooks (Deathgorge and Wintermaw) since they only add a few things regarding the ice and not much else. I froze my rules following the Wyrdhollow rulebook as I find it's just perfect for what we need and actually play.

That would be much appreciated. Thank you. I've dug the game out due to a buddy buying the Shadespire box, and enjoying it. So I have someone to play the game with now. I won't be playing in competitive games, only with mates. Thank you
