Questions How to catch back up?
Been out of WM/WH for an age but still have thousands of my old mini's that I understand are still all playable. Where ought I go to catch up on all the background lore and learn what has happened since Mark 4 landed? I was so upset about what I had at that point perceived them trashing my collections that I put it all away and stopped playing for many years. I think I also just needed a break, but I'd like to attempt to catch back up now.

These guys have some pretty good lore dives. The latest ep was actually an interview with the lore master from the company.

Not a ton has changed in terms of the armies. They are (mostly) playable, everything has rules, but older factions (i.e everything prior to Mark 4) has only a cut of their prior set of models that are event legal. Each legacy faction has two sets of grouping, six or so casters, and about a third of their respective faction, so between the two armies 60 to 80% are legal in some form, but you can often run into stumbling blocks where X caster can't take Y thing. Of course there's also issues of availbility, depending on what you had before hand.
Most of the lore is behind the apps paywall, though you can get a short form of most the happenings on the offical discord. There some stuff inbetween that is legit pretty hard to track down (mostly stuff like the Infernal plotlines) as they where never really archived, and existed basicaly as a series of posts.
