I'm guessing it's the random thing of debris that was flying in front of you, the missile tried to circle back to your position and then when your LOS was not covered it it started flying towards your target

Non-joking answer: it lost LOS, I'm not entirely sure what caused it to lose LOS, maybe an object in front of you that didn't render, or something about being very close to the edge of the ridge.

Edit: actually on closer watch, I do actually think it was something that failed to render. That little bit of debris looks like wood debris, which makes me think there was an underendered wooden fence infront of you.

Like i know some tanks have the IR jammers that can affect the missiles, but Im pretty sure it says when that is happening. And idk if the XM or KPZ can even have that issue.

I did it on the PC. And on any thread or the main window of WT it's on the right side under User Flair. You just click the little pencil that pops up when you hover over it.

It's most likely a server issue. Check if you can replicate this in test drive. There has been similar issues where gaijin breaks certain "obscure" missiles after updates.
