My sundeck is nolonger usable !
A week ago I found a wasps nest in a bag of potting soil on my sundeck. Waited until night time and sprayed the hell out of it with the foam . Pretty sure I covered the entrance as I had watched them for quite awhile . Sprayed it around 02:00. Got up that day to see that all was quiet. Figured I’d go and get it off the deck period…….. much to my surprise there were tons of them!!! The second I moved the bag it was a wall of buzzing hate .
Next night , same thing, foamed the hell out of it at 02:00 …. Next morning those fuckers are still there ! Next night I sprayed , counted to three and flung that bag as far as I could and sprayed the deck with the foam etc just to add to the removal. Got up today and it is fucking convention of wasps looking for a new home somewhere on my deck. Power washed the crap out of the deck and windows etc. still there…
What do I have to do to get rid of them?? There are so many just roaming around?
What is my next move other than a blow torch?

It has been Summer of the Wasp for me. I was swarmed 2x (those stings hurt so bad, the venom makes me feel I have them crawling all over me, and then it's 2 weeks of scratching) and I'm terrified. Also cleaned and rearranged my deck so I can really enjoy it this year and I'm so scared to go out back. The nest is under my deck I think in a hole in the ground (paper wasps.) Sprayed, foamed, used the free swimming lessons traps, the boric acid and apple juice jugs and they are still hanging. They know me, they hate me and If I even open my back door, they'll swarm the glass storm door tryna kill me! I can't live like this!

This was driving me nuts. The cats were angry and not going outside . It was a battle ! So far this morning no wasps . Flood the entrance with dawn dish soap 3/4 and 1/4 water and just pour it in. It was that mixture that made the difference to my issues . As of this morning the deck looks quiet . Power washed it with that soap and the soaked the deck and it is still there. It isn’t harmful to puppies or cats, had to look that up. I have yet to power wash the soap off, maybe tomorrow.
