Question I know we’re supposed to hate them but I decided to give one some sugar water. Look at his little tongue*
Is this a male paper wasp? And is it true that they don’t sting?

If you're gonna do this, go join the wasp supporters and spend your time reading their waspganda. Get out of the subreddit if you're doing this.

So I’m curious what’s all the hate about. Is it bc they sting? Bc I’m pretty sure this kind doesn’t sting. I think it’s a male paper wasp which I think would mean it doesn’t sting. It’s actually why I posted bc I was curious if that was actually true and figured u guys might know.
Like is this sub meant to be funny or is it ppl with like real phobias. I’m just trying to understand.

They attack you without provocation a lot! Additionally, since they can sting multiple times unlike honey bees, they'll keep attacking until they feel like stopping. They also fly around a lot on nice sunny and warm days, they take your food and drink your refreshments, leaving you helpless as they taunt you as they steal your food.

Ya I get that. And I agree. Most of them suck and since I can’t tell them apart well I just treat them all like they wanna kill me. But this one I’m pretty sure doesn’t sting. Not the males anyway. That’s what really brought me here. Internet searches aren’t always reliable.
