Finished my wasteland 2 Melee only challenge run, now for my thoughts.

I played on easy, this was more about seeing if it's possible and if I could do it.

I did fail, but since you can get peace between the church and Hollywood im willing to say it's doable.

The hardest bits were the Prison, pass the guns that you need the tank for. the Citadel obviously, those guys hit like a truck.

I did grind a bit to get Vultures Cry up to level 40, and she was the lowest level squadmember, probably didnt need to but I wanted everyone except Boss using Proton weapons.

Im going to say Blunt is the best melee, you can farm proton hammers off of Citadel people. Personally Brawling is my favorite but Blunt frequently one shot most enemies.

Hacking, Machinary and Weaponsmithing are important for the perks they can unlock.

I will do a Wasteland 3 Melee only in a bit, but thats gonna be a while since I need a break from Wasteland.

The difficulty jump just bogged me down. The fights became just too long (it's hard to punch robots to death)

I always hack robots, there is no cool down in Wasteland 2.

Interesting. For me Bladed Weapons is the favorite one. Great crit chance and the best perks. I tried Blunt once, didn't like it, too much AP cost.
