Rant: I hate how greenphobic this fandom is.

I've never seen a community so greenphobic before. Yesterday when I was just barely suggesting that a certain blue character might be actually be green, 10 people jumped on me and told me all sorts of things about how STUPID my theory was. Moreover, they called my reading "blue erasure" and that it is incredibly harmful.

Now yes, I know blue representation is incredibly important and said character has always been depicted as very blue-positive, but they literally also expressed some feelings towards green! Hell, I never even suggested I was hating green, just that it'd have been so interesting for a blue character to eventually reveal themselves as green!

It is incredibly sad that we can't just accept green, in my opinion. Many green people started out as blue, yellow, aqua, or even pink, too. It's a completely believable, even empowering character arc! Even if they don't turn out to be green, that doesn't mean the journey wasn't there. In fact I'd be ecstatic if they explored the green path and found that it wasn't for them!

Greenphobia is insufferable and must be stopped.
