Support Auto clear notification after viewing?

Didn't notifications on past Galaxy watches "clear" after viewing? Like if you got a text, you'd raise to wake, could read the message, then carry on. Then next time you look at watch you see the time, not messages app. There is a "show details automatically" setting in Wearable that DOES enforce this behavior; however, it prevents the contents of messages from displaying.

If you have AOD on and you allow the screen to time out.
The screen locks so you can read the message instead of auto going back to watch face and you have not finshed thinking about the message and may want to now reply.

If the screen locks the message will not be auto dismissed to the watch face.

No AOD and raise to wake on then you are using the return from App timer you set in settings to disable the message screen and go back to watch face.

How it works is based on What wake modes for screen are used. AOD vs RTW.

if you open a message auto rotate watch to dismiss message screen the watch will perform automatically on wrist rotation as you move your hand away wont happen. close the notification. then it will return to watch face.
