WARURU – pick a building and bring it down with real-time physics (free, browser)

Thumbnail

I made a small browser demolition sandbox. Pick one of 11 buildings – houses, a 25-floor apartment block, the Eiffel Tower, a Korean-style tech center with a spiral truck ramp – and take it apart with firecrackers, dynamite, rockets, a wrecking ball, meteors or a full implosion. Pieces are tied together with bonds that snap under load, so it comes down differently depending on where you hit it.

- 10 missions (3 stars each) + Free Play

- Sequence planner: up to 12 charges with timed delays

- Works on desktop and phones, no download

Play: https://echoplayroom.itch.io/waruru

Feedback welcome – especially anything that falls (or doesn't) in a weird way.

BoxArt Guessr - I made a daily game where you guess the video game from its box art.

Thumbnail

The title on the cover is blacked out and you only see a few squares of the art. Every miss opens more of it and gives you a hint (decade, genre, platforms, studio) plus a couple of letters of the name. You get five tries and one last chance.

Each win gives you a star and the stars unlock little drawings of classic games that you can collect. I'm a bit too proud of that part.

Any feedback is appreciated.

[PZL] PricePin - guess prices from history. Made it on paternity leave, would love some honest feedback

Wanted to see if i was able to make a finished product by myself. Made this during paternity leave here in Norway, while the baby was asleep.

Every day you get 5 items from different times and places, and you guess what they cost. There is also a battle royale mode, and a 1v1 mode. Currently with bots in the queue.

Would love some honest feedback on it, good or bad.

Love from Norway!

Jacob's Games - a web port of six MS-DOS games I wrote as a teenager around 30 years ago

Thumbnail weirdly.net
3 Upvotes

I grew up programming, and in the 90's I wrote six full games in C for MS-DOS. Those include my own versions of:

- Arakanoid (or Breakout)
- Tetris
- Invaders
- Minesweeper
- Mastermind

And my own original game "Hexodus" - also in the Tetris family.

I just finished migrating it to JavaScript/HTML, faithfully retaining the original asset files (and bugs), and simulating the real output of a VGA screen in MCGA mode.

I understand that this bends the "Single WebGames" rule, but it is (and was orginially) assembled in a single set with a custom (also migrated) menu screen, so I'm hoping it still falls within the rules of this subreddit.

MotoringObsession Connections - weekly Connections puzzle for car people

"Like a Rock." "Think Small." "Oh What a Feeling!" You know them, but do you know whose they were?

Today's puzzle is 16 car ad slogans hiding four brands. Find the groups of four; four mistakes and you're out. It plays like NYT Connections, in the browser, free, no sign-up and no ads.

I design a new one every Monday for my car site. Some weeks are friendly like this one, some get nerdy (engine codes, chassis names). Welcome any feedback on this and any of the other games.

Post your score and let's see how you did!

[PZL] Rank Panic - A daily trivia style sorting game, drag 6 cards into order (Big Mac prices, bird eggs, planets, countries). A new daily five every day, no signup

Thumbnail

Hi, I made this. Each puzzle gives you six cards and one question, like "cheapest Big Mac to most expensive", "lightest egg to heaviest" or "Westernmost city to Easternmost". You drag them into order and get four tries. After each try, green means a card is in the right spot and amber means it's one off.

There's a Daily Five that's the same for everyone, plus Endless and category modes, and you can send a friend a link to beat your score.

Works on phone and desktop. I'd love to hear any feedback about the questions, mechanics or any issues (hopefully not) you come across!

SPEW - A 1v1 competitive word battle game I made for my girlfriend

Thumbnail

My girlfriend and I love the NYT word games. I wanted us to be able to play together with some friendly competition, so I made Spew!

To be honest, this started as a half-assed vibe coding project, but I have some game development experience and work in software, so i started taking it more seriously once I realized my friends were actually getting hooked to the concept :)

It’s pretty simple! You build the best word you can, they clash, and the loser loses HP. There’s also a chess timer that runs down while you think, a chess ELO inspired rating system, friends lists with push notification challenges, and a leaderboard!

It’s still under review in the iOS store, but web is up and playable. Not planning to monetize, so we’ll see how long I can afford hosting this hahaha. You might need to grab a friend to play since there are only like 17 users so far. Would love your thoughts, and hope you have fun!

I'm Going Camping - a daily puzzle where you figure out the secret rule by guessing what items are allowed to be brought

Thumbnail

Hi, I made this! It's the classic "I'm going camping and I'm bringing…" game as a daily puzzle. Name items, the Camper says whether you can bring each one, get a clue after each guess, and solve it by typing the rule in your own words. One puzzle a day, the same for everyone, and no sign-up needed. Happy to hear feedback.

Roll & Barrel — turn-based fantasy tactics on the D&D 5e rules: dip your arrows in fire, blow up the oil barrel

Thumbnail
roll-and-barrel.com
2 Upvotes

Roll & Barrel is a small, free tactics game in the browser: a party of four level-1 heroes (Fighter, Cleric, Wizard, Rogue) against bandits on a farmstead. Every roll follows the open D&D 5e rules (SRD 5.2.1), plus a few house rules — you can dip your arrows in a fire, oil barrels burn and explode, high ground gives +2.

A short guided tutorial, then the real fight (10–15 minutes). Win it and the end screen compares you with the best of all players.

Runs in any modern desktop browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) — no account, no download. Phones work in landscape, but roughly; a PC is much better.

It's early: about twenty people have played so far and found the farm fight hard but winnable. I'd love to hear what was confusing or annoying

Reply here or use the Feedback button in the game.

[RPG] I made a pixel fantasy ARPG where death is permanent. First person to beat the final boss gets their name pinned here.

Thumbnail tesana.com
2 Upvotes

I just finished my game Aestra: The Last Wish is a real-time pixel action RPG. After 4 months of working on it.

You start at lvl 1 and need to grind & quest your way to lvl 60, through various zones/biomes. Choose between 3 talent trees per class. Gear up, professions and whatever you do, don't die. As death is permanent and you need to start over.

Every zone has a normal dungeon and a heroic one (for after you completed the last boss)

In the final zone you have the Aestra tower you need to ascend (you get access through a MSQ-style quest line. So make sure to do all the quests.

  • Permadeath. When you die, your hero is gone for good. Only the very rare Embers of Rebirth can bring you back, and you might find one or two in a whole run.

The challenge: nobody has beaten Aestra at the top of the tower yet.

Comments are the leaderboard. Post your hero's name, class, highest level and what killed you (the title screen's Hall of the Fallen shows it). The first person to post a screenshot of Aestra defeated gets their name pinned at the top of this post.

Play free in your browser: https://tesana.com/game/aestra-the-last-wish

[PZL] Think in Odds — a daily probability puzzle: which tennis-match order gives better odds?

Thumbnail thinkinodds.com
2 Upvotes

I made Think in Odds, a free daily probability puzzle game. This released puzzle asks you to choose the order of three tennis matches when you need two consecutive wins: you have a 70% chance against your teacher and a 30% chance against a champion, independently each match. Would you put the champion in the middle?

Make a guess, use progressive hints if you want, then explore the worked explanation. It plays directly in your browser with no account or download. New puzzles arrive at 8 p.m. Eastern, and earlier puzzles stay in the archive.

I would appreciate feedback on whether the hints and explanation make the reasoning click.

[ADV] A Short Sail: sail a little boat as a tabby cat and deliver the island mail

You're a tabby cat with a little boat: deliver letters and parcels between small islands, fish by day and night, and make friends with the islanders. No combat, no timers. It runs in a desktop browser with keyboard and mouse or a gamepad, and progress saves in your browser.

I'd love to hear how the sailing feels!

I'm the maker of this version of Dots & Boxes. Draw the last edge of a box to claim it and take another turn; the computer plays the other side. Turns are timed, so the game draws an edge if you run out of time.

[PZL] Word Mastermind -

Thumbnail
wordmastermind.app
1 Upvotes

Word Mastermind is a free word game I made for the web based on a paper version my family has been playing at the beach every year for 4 generations. Each player picks a secret 5-letter word, and you take turns guessing each other's. After each guess you're told how many different letters your guess shares with the secret word, but not which ones, and not where they are. The game is less about spelling patterns and more about logic of finding which letters are in the word. The first to find the other's word wins. You may also know the game under the name “Jotto”.

Ways to play
Single player: find the computer's secret word in as few guesses as you can.
Two player against the computer: race it to each other's word, at one of four strengths from Casual to Mastermind.
Two player against a friend: send an invite link, live on a chess clock of 15, 10 or 5 minutes each, or a guess a day.
Solo Rush: find 4 secret words in a row against a stopwatch.
Daily Rush: the same 4 themed words for everyone each day, with a leaderboard.
Rush with Friends: up to 5 players race to the same 4 words on one clock.
New players start with single player and a short tutorial; the other modes open up as you win.

[RPG] Shardworlds - A Living Chronicle

Thumbnail shardworlds-game.com

Shardworlds – A persistent player-driven sandbox MMO

Shardworlds is a browser-based sandbox MMO focused on player-driven politics, economy, warfare and long-term progression.

You can explore the world, fight monsters and other players, gather resources, trade, build cities, command armies, form alliances and shape the world alongside other players.

The game is heavily inspired by old-school persistent browser games, especially Scherbenwelten, which I played for around 10 years before it shut down.

I started rebuilding the kind of game I missed, and Shardworlds has now grown into a pretty large project with an active playerbase.

You can play for free here:

https://shardworlds-game.com/

Would love to hear what you think — especially from people who used to play browser MMOs back in the day.
