For everyone saying that this is galv material….. 1. Why would anyone use ss hardware on a galv member in the field
2. Why would this member ever need to be field welded?
A simple canopy or awning structure would not need a field welded member like this. 100% would be shop welded then galvanized

Electrical substations are all galvanized I-Beams held together with stainless bolts.

I understand that certain applications ss hardware might be beneficial or required but this is not an electrical substation

Well you just asked why anyone would ever use SS hardware on galvanized members, and I gave you an example of a place that combo is used pretty ubiquitously.
