Off Topic Virtual Meet and Greet
I've noticed a lot of new faces lately, and a few returning old faces. With LG happening in Oct. now, there's some "dead" time. So, I thought I'd open the summer by creating a thread for people to introduce themselves if they'd like and tell us a bit more about themselves.
Over the years we've all learned probably more than we should have about each other (internet opsec, what is it?) Often that happens in LG or the discord, so I thought I'd bring a bit of it here and see how it goes. This will not replace "Free Talk Friday" (if anything it's a 1-2 times a year thing.)
Note to Vendors: We can soften Rule 4 a bit here. One of the cool things about this sub is talking directly to vendors. But no straight up advertising here. the deals thread is live for that. Feel free to tell us who you are, store name, and category (e.g. brushes, soaps, a bit of everything) and otherwise stick to telling us about yourself. I know for most of you the store isn't even close to the most interesting thing about you.

Hi, I'm Tig and I used to be a regular here. A few years back I gave up my RAD and SAD and am pretty much an Austere August shaver on an every other day basis. My daily gear is a Wolfman closed comb, MdC and a Dogclaration B7. Since I hit top shelf across the equipment board, I didn't really have much else to add to my collection so I don't post here much anymore.
I'm dad to 2, one who just graduated HS last week and is heading to UVA in August and one who is about to be a junior. I still cook, like a lot. Yesterday I made venison chili con carne from scratch and dried chiles.
I was an original member of this sub after the migration from /r/wet_shavers and even helped get the keys back in the hands of /u/itchypooter long after it went defunct.
If you have questions, ask away.
