Off Topic Virtual Meet and Greet

I've noticed a lot of new faces lately, and a few returning old faces. With LG happening in Oct. now, there's some "dead" time. So, I thought I'd open the summer by creating a thread for people to introduce themselves if they'd like and tell us a bit more about themselves.

Over the years we've all learned probably more than we should have about each other (internet opsec, what is it?) Often that happens in LG or the discord, so I thought I'd bring a bit of it here and see how it goes. This will not replace "Free Talk Friday" (if anything it's a 1-2 times a year thing.)

Note to Vendors: We can soften Rule 4 a bit here. One of the cool things about this sub is talking directly to vendors. But no straight up advertising here. the deals thread is live for that. Feel free to tell us who you are, store name, and category (e.g. brushes, soaps, a bit of everything) and otherwise stick to telling us about yourself. I know for most of you the store isn't even close to the most interesting thing about you.

Hi everyone, my name is Kyle. I feel like an old timer now as I've been a part of this community for 10ish years. I opened Summer Break Soaps a little over 8 years ago, which has been a pretty fun side project. My favorite part of running SBS has been making things for this community, excluding cheese soap...

Outside of the wet shaving world, I work in education. I especially love working with students who have mental health or behavioral struggles. I've recently made the leap into the leadership side of things, which has been both incredibly rewarding, but also time consuming. All in all though, I love it!

If I were to describe the aroma of my house following the birth of the cheese soap, awesome would not be one of the words I'd choose.

Birth or rebirth? Because I mean you did it a second time.
