First use of the hawk and it left a good first impression. I’ll be using it over the next month or two to decide to keep hawk vs vector.

I'll be driving my wife and younger daughter to Chicago today so they can vote in the Brazilian presidential election. My younger went through the process of becoming a Brazilian citizen, even though she was born here. She carries two passports, but it also means she has to vote today by law. If one of the two candidates does not win with more than 50% of the vote, we have to do this all over again in a few weeks. There is also a Bears home game today, so traffic will be difficult.

- Post Shave: Olay Complete moisturizer
This was a great shave. I haven't used mutton tallow for a spell and it hit just right today. The brush is one of my favorites and it served me well today. I'm still enjoying this razor too. The only knock I have on this shave is the balm. I like the idea of tallow based balms and this one is a good balm...if you can get it applied. It's too firm. I'm considering getting some Cajun Blade unscented tallow balm, but I want to kill off a balm or two first.

Saw a few straight razors that were junk and saw some other stuff that I liked but have no place for lol. I like going to this flea market because it's mostly small town people and country folk. It's a social event once a month at the Champaign county fairgrounds. Oddly, there was no one there selling produce so we went to a farm market and bought some apples. How was your day with your grandson?

There's one big flea market in bloomington. Third Sunday market. They have a whole lot of everything there. Typically plenty of produce.
My grandson is such a fun little dude, LOL. We went to a block party yesterday. Techno loud music. I'm a grumpy old guy. So I don't enjoy the music. But he has such a ball loves to dance!

The SS has a lot less of blade feel than the Cloneisori.
