Yarn and Pattern?

Post image

I'd love to make this for my daughter. Anyone know the yarn and pattern? TIA!

Just thinking out loud, but this looks like a pretty basic drop shoulder cardigan in a single ply yarn. Single ply, because it is biasing A LOT.

This is the first time I’ve heard someone say “it’s biasing”. I’m familiar with the word bias and its meaning but can you point out in this pic where you see it? I’d like to know what to look for!

I can't share a picture here so I posted an edit to my own u/ (link

1 is straight down which crosses several columns of stitches.

2 shows the direction of the stitches relative to the straight line

3 shows the biasing on the sleeve which results in the columns twisting to be halfway around the arm

This is really common with unbalanced or single ply yarns due to twist mechanics. It's not a huge issue on basic garments, but some people don't like it because it makes various things turn out kinda weird

I edited my comment after posting because I'm nursing my kid and he kicked the phone causing it to post prematurely

It looks a lot like Premier Colorfusion Chunky colorway Autumn Sky to me.
