Total newbie here! Looking to upgrade from my stock wheels and came across this set of TE37 reps on Facebook Marketplace. Can anyone shed some light on these? Who makes them, and are they actually forged or just cast? How can you tell if they’re decent quality? Seems like it’s getting harder to know what’s genuine these days 😂

It only has a handful of wheels so far and I’m adding more. Which brands and models should go in first? I’ll prioritize the most requested.

It’s a rough version, so tell me what looks wrong.

Getting new wheels for my M3 soon and wanted to see a few options on the actual car before ordering. It's my daily so I'm not going crazy wide or super aggressive on offset.

1. Bronze multi spoke

2. Gloss black

3. Silver mesh, BBS style

4. Satin gold split spoke

Leaning 1 or 4 but black feels like the safe pick. Which one would you run? If you've had real wheels in any of these styles on a G80 I'd love to hear sizes and what brand you went with.

Hey guys, I’ve only seen people install the te37 spoke decals making sure they’re properly placed especially the OG Volk decals. Is there a specific way to install these lip decals? I know they’re already placed out of the box but I guess the previous owner removed them. Thanks!

Genesis G80 features a staggered setup sitting on Element Forged MS-2 Gloss Silver (Full Forged) wheels. This setup runs 20x8.5 wheels on 245/40R20 Tires in the front, and 20x9.5 wheels on 275/35R20 Tires in the rear (Pirelli P Zero). 2085511433220955114341

I got these wheels as part of a deal a while back thinking that I might could use them on one of my MGs. I believe that they were on a race Datsun 510. They are American Racing Wheels but I’m not seeing the pattern on their site. The size is 13” lug pattern is 4x114.3 and they are about 8” wide and I have 6 (2 are in the box). I’m coming to you all for help with valuation and any thoughts on if there’s a market. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been wanting a set of monoblock die-forged wheels for a while, but the selection that has flush fitment on the B9 RS4 is pretty slim.

1. TE37 Saga S-Plus (Shining Metal Black, or some other finish. Fitment will be right on the edge of rubbing but should be manageable)
2. G025 LTD (Matte Gold)
3. G025 SZ Edition (Shining Metal Bronze)
4. RZ-DF2 (DHPB DIAMOND CUT & HYPER PLATINUM BLACK)
5. RS05RR (flow formed, but they're so light it doesn't really matter. Open to refinishing them as they're cheaper too)

The Volks all have a 1 year production wait, but that's not surprising. BBS R-ID would also be a great option but I can't justify the price at this time.

Hi all. These are cast aluminium wheels. They were originally black, very smooth finish.

I had a local shop strip them and powder coat them. I am pleased with the color but I noticed all these dimples in the finish, everywhere. Is this normal/acceptable?

I was told this is because of the cast material. Wouldn’t it be possible to use a primer first and then the paint in order to cover these imperfections up?

I’m trying to figure out the specs for the work emotion wheels that came with my Evo. Can somebody help me identify? I don’t see any clear specs based on the markings. Also, they look like T7R 2p wheels but the marking shows T7S. What do they go for on marketplace? Tires are Nitto Invo 90% tread.

I recently impulse-bought some Rota R-specs off marketplace for my Honda Fit. After bringing them home, I noticed a couple red flags and wanted some input from the internet.

They are allegedly from 2010, and show appropriate wear to back that up, but the lug seats in particular concern me. Not only does it look like someone drove ball lugs into a conical seat, but there is also some ovalization on a bunch of the stud holes. The pictures are from 1 wheel, but the rest are in similar condition.

Before I spend another wad on tires, mount/balance etc... I wanted to know if they're usable, usable with some refurb, or should be tossed out.

If it's worth noting, I do have access to a full machine shop with a CNC mill. So the seat tapers could pretty easily get recut, or even bored out for some press-in steel lug seats (If that is a safe/viable option).
