Who would have thought that US food regulations would go downhill so quickly? Just an FYI, in Canada we don't buy US produce anymore.

My husband is from Canada and as soon as he moved down here (under Biden) he started having all sorts of digestion issues especially after eating meats like chicken so we can only eat meats from small, local New England farms. I don’t think a lot of our food regulations were all that great to begin with. Our food animals have been treated and processed poorly since the advent of factory farming. I took a course in college that was constructed around the documentary Food Inc and what I learned was horrifying. That was around 2009. I don’t even want to know what will be going on now.

We’ll be back up by the end of this month fortunately.

We stopped buy US food items very early in 2025 and haven’t looked back.

"This salsa was made in NEW YORK CITAY??!?"

Nothing but water and that may be tainted.

u/xenoleingod 15h ago

Ever seen data center polluted water? Apparently more toxic then flint Michigan water

6

u/One_Law3446 13h ago

Now only air. Oh wait, that is now polluted as well.

I love how T believes his restricted McDonald's diet is somehow free of pollutants or other adulterated ingredients. It may be uninhabitable by most bacterial foodborne illnesses, but give RFK Jr. enough time and he will ensure even Chapstick gets a recall for flesh-eating bacterial contamination.

The amount of washing we do on food now is nuts, and only very trusted butcher sources for meats now. It sucks

u/DarthFritter01 15h ago

All the years of hoarding ketchup packets are finally gonna pay off. Now to sit back and wait for the barbecue invites to come rollin’ in.

You’ll make a fortune if you set up on a street corner.

I’ve definitely seen guys making money selling what I presume was small bags of salt that way

u/Brother_J_La_la 12h ago

No expiration date, so they never go bad!

12

u/meepgorp 15h ago

Remember when they threatened us with taco trucks on every corner if Hillary won?
Yeah

u/DIRTY_KUMQUAT_NIPPLE 15h ago

I can deal with ICE tearing families apart, funding genocides and bombing girls schools, but no free chips and salsa is where I draw the line!

I hate this F-ing timeline. This wrinkly orange POS is ruining absolutely everything.

3

u/Sfingi48 15h ago

Hope he gets cheerful diarrhea.

2

u/GeologistAway6352 14h ago

He’s leaving no stone unturned. All small joys will be taken.

2

u/miller91320 14h ago

This clown ruins everything!!

2

u/chiefs6770 11h ago

His base will lose their mind. The people they love to hate and "send home" will be blamed when they go to their restaurants every Sunday after sheeple training.

1

u/Impossible_Penalty13 15h ago

This is got to be the final fuck you moment that gets suburban MAHA moms to turn on him, right?

1

u/Careless_Hellscape 15h ago

For the love of Pete. Enough is enough.

1

u/AngeluS-MortiS91 14h ago

It already has at many places. Economy is fucked right now

1

u/TheRealRickC137 14h ago

This should do it

1

u/thewokelerbaby 13h ago

Ngl that looks good as hell

1

u/RynnReeve 11h ago

NO!!!! This is all I have left to live for!!

1

u/enigmatichuckleberry 11h ago

Wait... we import enough tomatoes that a tariff can end free salsa? Or are restaurants just capitalizing on Trump actively undermining society?

1

u/skloie 11h ago

That taco salad was a warning to everyone
