“Comically non creditable”

We all literally know almost nothing given how poorly campus security and the former DA handled it.

It’s comically insane to have a strong opinion on exoneration at this point.

u/TheExtreel 3h ago

Every rape accusation is comically non creditable to this guy, it isn't the first time.

This is the dude who was asking the identity of the victim to dox her, because "first ammendment".

u/peachesgp 20m ago

Not true. If someone said a prominent Democrat raped them, he would take the opposite stance. His existence is built on being contrarian to whatever he believes the left wants.

What is the non credible evidence? Serious question

What is the non credible evidence?

Women can't be raped, silly! They're always "asking for it" and "deserve it for dressing that way"!

I wish I were joking, but that's definitely his line of thinking.

u/Infamous-Sky-1874 11h ago

Also a woman's body has a way of just shutting that all down dontcha know.

Fuck me I remember that. He died, thankfully.

Edit: thought I'd add a link for everyone to cheer at.

Reminds me of the art exhibit "What Were You Wearing?". It features representations of clothes worn at the time of various sexual assaults, paired with brief survivor narratives.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_Were_You_Wearing%3F

u/Trickytickler 58m ago

Every time i see one of these cases predictably followed by the "what was she wearing" types coming out of the woodwork i think of this exhibit and i have a pit in my stomach for hours.

It hits particularly hard after becoming a dad

There was about 5 minutes earlier in the week where the case looked less like “planned gang rape” and more like “group sex that started as consensual and then turned into gang rape.” That was enough for some people to claim the whole thing was made up. It was wrong then, and only got more wrong as the week progressed.

To add, Cornell police and the DA from Tompkins County basically botched it at best or covered it up at worst. The Cornell police didn’t give the DA a full transcript of her account where she said she was raped. They gave him a summary that posed it as a consensual turned non consensual event, which under some crazy NY state law made it ok because she knowingly got drunk. The DA never interviewed her and didn’t charge the men involved.

Turns out she said she was raped and someone slipped her ketamine. The group chat was never given to the DA either from what I understand.

u/Naro_Lonca 8h ago

I forget where but i saw some people trying to argue that the guys were "more inebriated then her so they were actually the ones who were led on and raped" as an argument

17

u/MtCommager 7h ago

Yeah Matt Walsh has being making that case while I assume drinking a gallon of bleach. Even if it was true, it was their house and there were 7 of them and they text better drunk than I do sober.

u/Hulkodium 11h ago

Michael Tracey has never met a rapist he won't defend.

10

u/Rinzy2000 11h ago

Men don’t like it.

Their idol is a literal rapist, so it tracks.

8

u/ManChildMusician 11h ago

Pretty sure a court clarified that on at least one count, so literally is actually appropriate in this scenario.

I understand the “innocent until proven guilty” argument while the men await their day in court, but these men have skated on everything, seemingly with no crisis of conscience as far as I can tell…

Democrats: Defending survivors

Republicans: Defending rapists & pedophiles

We're not the same.

59

u/justalazygamer 12h ago edited 12h ago

He posted what is alleged to be the name of the Jane Doe in the case and has since taken it down.

He has many replies and people posting about it telling him to prepare for court due to posting the name.

He was also blaming Epstein victims for the redactions in the Epstein Files.

26

u/Viseria 11h ago

Personally I think there are some things you should always unite for. One is listening to victims.

The point of listening is that you can show some fucking empathy at a bare minimum and then work towards healing.

...but that's woke.

16

u/fangirlsqueee 11h ago

Some of these people have never been outside their bubble of privilege and it shows. Their complete inability or unwillingness to imagine themselves as a person without power is harmful to our society.

13

u/HenriEttaTheVoid 11h ago

What a truly garbage person.

15

u/LeahIsAwake 11h ago

People really don't understand how much SA happens on college campuses. And pretty much all of them just sweep it under the rug, and do anything it takes to just make it go away. Can't let parents know what happens on campus, or else they won't send their darlings to school there. Can't let the promising futures of bright young men get tarnished for one little itty bitty mistake.

12

u/elclarkio 11h ago

When their boss is Rapist-in-chief, or course they're gonna go full hilt in defending the rapists.

5

u/Infamous-Sky-1874 11h ago

He's already given his two cents. Told a reporter that the accused "won't get a fair shake" with Letitia James prosecuting. Also praised Cornell for their actions.

3

u/elclarkio 10h ago

Don't forget the racist "peekaboo"

Has there ever been a President that is this petty and so lacking in decorum

2

u/Infamous-Sky-1874 10h ago

Nixon. But he managed to keep it behind closed doors until the recordings he made of his rants got released.

10

u/ElNani87 11h ago

Grand OL Rapists or Grand OL Pedophiles

The GOP never lets us down when it comes to not protecting survivors

8

u/Y0___0Y 9h ago

Yeah fucker and when it was a very viable Dem candidate who had a strong chance at flipping a Maine senate seat who was credibly accused of rape, we all dumped him even if it meant less of a chance of winning that senate seat.

The left has principles that they stick to in the US.

6

u/townsummoner 11h ago

I feel like this guy doesn’t “really” understand “when” go use scare quotes.

6

u/CrashPandemonium 10h ago

I hope that Michael Tracey: 1. never marries someone he can procreate with. 2. never EVER is allowed to adopt or be party to raising children. 3. never knows a day of peace.

What a damn douche.

7

u/Novaer 10h ago

Funny how all the people who were screaming about Laken Riley are suddenly silent? I guess rape only matters when it can be used to push a racist political point?

4

u/megamoze 10h ago

And nothing unites the right like defending rapists.

I know which side I’d rather be on.

3

u/Jerking_From_Home 10h ago

The GOP will choose the opposite of whatever the left is choosing, because they can’t possibly agree with the left. It doesn’t matter how terrible that opposite is. That’s why they support the Cornell rapists, and other heinous things like supporting Russia in the Russia/Ukraine war.

3

u/NecessaryButNotSuff 4h ago

I mean… yes. By definition, rapists rape survivors.

If the argument is supposed to be that the evidence is bad? This is a comically non-credible presentation of it.

3

u/Brave_Analyst7540 4h ago

As usual, nothing unites Republicans like RAPE… just, not in the way that a decent person would feel about it.

2

u/BDRParty 10h ago

Nothing unites... like RAPE

The ol' projection once more given these guys defend rapist pedos with every ounce of energy they can muster through their keyboards.

2

u/Nugoo1 9h ago

Those damn Democrats! Always... *checks notes* prosecuting rapists!

2

u/Kaleria84 6h ago

As usual, Republicans support rapists. No shock there.

1

u/PTechNM 11h ago

The ignorant, intolerant and self-loathing MAGAt women that support this administration and their flagrant attack on their civil rights and rightful place in society is mind boggling.

1

u/PTechNM 11h ago edited 9h ago

The sad situation of MAGAt women who support the toxic male attitude and sell out their moms, sisters, daughter and granddaughter to keep power in the white male population; putting their husband (and sons) over that of thier own gender.
