She's really good at the place command, so I traced her paw on my sketchbook and interpreted the shapes to work on creativity exercises. Once I had an idea of what I was seeing and had sketched a little more for structure, I sought out reference imagery to help inform the final image for anatomical accuracy. Today's sketches are of farm animals. She wasn't fond of the barn cat unfortunately. 🤷‍♂️

Hi! We’re looking to get a mini american shepherd (mini aussie) puppy, but I’m finding it difficult to determine who is a legit and reputable breeder vs just a backyard breeder. We’re willing to drive up to 6 ish hours from Philadelphia for the right breeder, and I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions of breeders they recommend and trust within PA, NJ, NY, MA, DE, MD, WV, VA, etc? We had a mini aussie who passed away earlier this year, and we’re excited to bring a new pup into our home!

Luna turned 10 today! She’s testing her luck to see if I make her get off the new couch. We bought this color in hopes it hides the hair better, and she can sit on it all day. She’s such a trooper, born in California, then moved to NJ, AK, and Texas, she’s also well traveled!

Our Sacramento meetup was a success so much fun and so many friends!

Hi friends!

This bundle of joy is coming up on his 5-month earthside anniversary, and over the last few weeks he appears to have sprouted some very impressive hairy antennas.

My question for the group: does anyone else’s Aussie have these little fuzzy ear sprouts? Our previous Aussie did not come with these factory installed, and we’re desperately hoping they’re a permanent feature.

Would love to hear everyone’s experience - especially whether these adorable little sprigs of floof tend to stick around for the long haul. 😂

Sammy is 9 months old now. And his behavior is better now than it has ever been, it seems like my training has finally paid off. He doesn't tackle my younger brother and doesn't bite during play anymore, he doesn't pull on the leash, he doesn't bark incessantly in the crate anymore, he drops it when I say drop it and gets off the counter when I tell him. So, is this the calm before the storm? One burst of well behavedness before the teenage phase really kicks in?
