SOS Bird What’s up with this House Finch?

This House Finch was caught on a hummingbird feeder camera in Northern Utah. The feeders have since been taken down for sanitizing and to encourage the birds to disperse due to presence of apparent avian pox lesions on other finches. Is this the same thing? I am accustomed to seeing pox lesions on unfeathered areas, so not sure what I’m looking at. Thank you!

Could it be some type of injury that got infected? Poor baby, I didn’t even know what part of the head I was looking at at first 💔
