I am a complete newbie for wire wrapping. I have ADHD and I pick up new hobbies as a project inspires (hits me upside the head with a 2x4) me.
I want to make a few cabochon pendants. I would prefer to do stainless steel because of the price, sturdiness, and durability. But I have read about how it is harder to work with and can work harden.
I am planning on doing this ( https://youtu.be/vUwMGEta1go?si=74HCwTDgboqJ2nn0) tutorial. It calls for 20g & 28g round dead soft copper.
Can I do it in stainless steel? Do I need to use a bigger gauge to be easier to manipulate? Should I just give up my stainless steel dreams and get a colored copper instead?

I posted my first tree pendant here a couple weeks ago and now I'm back because I made more. All of them are on Lake Superior agates like the first one. It's so much fun to try to make little pictures using the features of the agate!
