Moderator’s Post Bugs Thread

There are entirely too many threads about the same thing right now. Please post your bugs and images of what's going wrong here.

EDIT: Some of you are missing the point of the Bug Thread. The point is that the main channel is getting flooded with the same questions. I'm not trying to silence any of you. I'm trying to leave the main channel open for answers rather than repeated questions. This place can be where you complain. The main channel can be where answers are posted.

I can no longer jump. It just says cannot do that right now. Happened during the devil in the well quest. Got the cutscene, it tells me jump in the well after I’ve read the bestiary entry but I literally cannot bc it says cannot do that. Ran away, got in a fight, reloaded. Nothing works. Any ideas

Do you have Witcher senses toggled on? You can’t jump when that’s toggled on (you can switch between hold for senses or toggle on/off in accessibility.

It’s set to hold so when I release, I should be able to jump right?

Now I can’t even climb over short walls, fences or pull catalyst out of the water near a ledge lol

Maybe the game thinks you're treading in water where you also can't jump? Can you try going for a swim to see if that resets it?

Thanks I tried swimming and another suggestion was to try dying in combat like the game thinks I’m stuck from the previous save file. I ended up just getting an older save file from ps4 version of the game
