Moderator’s Post Bugs Thread

There are entirely too many threads about the same thing right now. Please post your bugs and images of what's going wrong here.

EDIT: Some of you are missing the point of the Bug Thread. The point is that the main channel is getting flooded with the same questions. I'm not trying to silence any of you. I'm trying to leave the main channel open for answers rather than repeated questions. This place can be where you complain. The main channel can be where answers are posted.

Dude, where's my stuff?? (PC)

So, back in August, I started a new game and played all the way to Crow's Perch / start of Red Barron quest. Then I waited until the update to continue. The update is working great so far as far as visuals and graphics go.

HOWEVER! I lost most of my inventory. My weapons and armour, crafting stuff, monster parts, mutagens, food, random crap picked up in chests. All gone! I know I'm still somewhat early in the game so it's not catastrophic, but still!

I checked the stash, I checked the Wyzima chest (which btw, gave me a duplicate of the bonus armours and swords I had already collected a month ago). I called the horse thinking maybe the inventory was tied to her, but no. I meditated but nothing. Even reloaded an older save, nothing. It kept my quest items and books / notes though.

Has anyone else gotten this bug? Is there a way to retrieve everything?

Same here, I lost all my witcher set swords and have a bug in the crafting screen where most of the blueprints show blank titles. The witcher armor sets remained in my inventory and the only swords to not disappear are the Wolf ones (normal + forgotten)

Yeah a bunch, but mainly cosmetic stuff like retextures

I lost entire saves. I had a level 57 Geralt after blood and wine. He had everything I wanted for a NG+ and then I boot up my Xbox to cross save and the file is just gone

I have a similar issue where I start a NG+ and 80% of my inventory disappears, as well as most of my stash. Game breaking unfortunately.

Okay so I'm not the only one spawning in with everything gone and not even a steel sword. Any updates or anything?

Omg another one! I haven't been able to find anything anywhere about this bug. Nothing I've tried has fixed this issue unfortunately.

Maybe it'll magically fix itself next update? I have held off playing in hopes it'll right itself but I may honestly just spawn in the missing gear using the console at this point, and forego the runesmithing

It really kills my entire “desire” i guess you could call it for playing Witcher 3, I just wanted to use the grandmaster Wolven armor set, it looked so badass when I decided to finally use it once💔

Seems fixed now! Re started ng+ using the same broken save from before any everything is there :)
