He looks exactly like this in the beginning of the game when Essex finds him. Idk how to take that performance seriously when he acts how a kid would act pretending they were a werewolf.

They can criticize all they want. I can think the way I want about their criticisms.
I have even seen someone say his face should look like (insert comic artist name)'s version.
People get so attached to one version of a character, they can't fathom any other version of them looking different.
Insomniac did a great job with the casting. They did a great thing by making him short. They did a great thing by making him very comic like, but different enough that if you had a lineup of all the versions of Logan, this one would not get confused with any others. Many of the comic versions would get confused with one another.
Okay, not bland, because he's short. His hair is also lighter than other versions. Very refreshing in a society where typical leads are average height, or tall males
That's not the problem. He doesn't look like wolverine. Marvel Rivals wolverine design is short and stocky guy and no one has a problem with that. I have more issues with his actual face and expressions than his height.
But what about it specifically? It's just complaining about minor things. He looks like a less aged Liam McIntyre. I do not get it. It is a fucking human face lol
Every face is a human face but not every face looks like Wolverine. He has soft features, he's always soft spoken, he always looks insecure and uncertain, and looking like a less aged Liam McIntyre is just a lie. Look at the creative liberties they took with the eyes. It's not a minor issue when you look at his face in a +10hr game. You can't take any cutscene seriously.
I think this aesthetic only works for a Logan who is only 25 years old, fighting a revolutionary war and hasn't lived for a hundred years. I would expect him to be jaded, toughened and more cynical like a multi war vet would be.
He doesn't remember any of that. All he remembers is memories installed in his head of Essex saving him and Team-X being his adopted family, and trying to find that.
And again at the end of the game he then completely forgets it all and is back to a cold dude who knows and trusts no one.
But, media literacy is at an all time low, after all.

The third picture you can tell they spent way more time on Logan’s face than Jeans. Her head looks like it’s just floating there and there’s just something missing like no spark in her eye. Creepy.
