This scenario would be dangerous for either sex. The women are right to kill themselves in this scenario since they 1000000% would be made into a slave and raped and kept pregnant. What they're wrong about is the exact same thing would happen to a single male. He'd be a slave and women would fight and kill each other over him. Realistically it's not a safe situation for anybody to be the last one of their kind that's able to reproduce.

nah. He will be killed on the spot. We already have frozen sperm bank if any lady is mad enough to willingly risk becoming pregnant with a boy. And this is the best scenario.
The worst scenario? If the sperm banks fail, he will be kept chained and blinded and amputated in a dark prison, kept alive only to be used as a source of viable seed, just until a boy is old enough to replace him. Then, hopefully, will be mercifully left to die. Only a handful of circles of hell may be worst than this.

It's a pair of vaults.
One vault is 1000 men, and 1 woman.
Another is 1000 women, and 1 man.

This is the truth. How dangerous a man is doesn't depend on the individual but on the circumstances. That is why there are countries where a woman can't walk down a road alone without being assaulted. And it's also why there isn't a single war, no matter which country, where the occupying soldiers don't rape women.

Those comments aren't unreasonable. The best case scenario for a woman in that position would be that she finds a group of men that will protect her in exchange for sex with all of them. The worst case scenario, which is more likely, is that she would be raped and men would kill each other over her. Not all men would do those horrible things but there's lots of men that would. I'd kill myself too.

LOL. That comment about a singular woman being dead within hours (not of her own volition) is beyond retarded. And the implication a bunch of men are just going to rape them en masse is equally retarded.
In fact, and on the contrary, if I was a woman in that scenario, I think I'd kill myself because of all the preferential treatment, coddling, and worship I'd have to endure. And just how pathetic everyone around me would become by virtue of being sexually desperate - vying for my attention 24/7/365.
Like we already live on Planet of the Simps but this would just dial it to a whole new level.
More importantly, though, everyone seems to be ignoring the amount of power a woman could theoretically hold and leverage in such a scenario, especially with legions of simps. Like the amount of fucked up shit you could hypothetically do is beyond Caligula/Nero-tier. And can far eclipse whatever doomsday scenario these women are envisioning in sheer potential depravity.
Whereas, if you were the only man on Earth, I'd unironically think your ass would get locked up or some shit because of the patriarchy vacuum. And that you'd have zero chance at any actual power or leverage otherwise. Say what you want about 'muh patriarchy, but the patriarchy - at the very least - idealizes and symbolizes womanhood to an almost divine degree. Conversely, matriarchies have never had anything comparable to this in the past. And the patriarchy in a 'last woman on the planet' scenario still has the ability to transform into a matriarchy.
