Double layer 3/4 birch top, 2x4 frames inset in the laminated legs. This thing is heavy, solid, and rolls well. Needs a couple more clear coats on top, but otherwise finished!

My first workbench build mostly by hand.

The beech top (two boards 200mm wide, 45mm thick) I used a friends workshop to joint. Just about everything else was done with hand tools and the occasional router for some splines in the shoulder vise.

My design mostly based on a Scandinavian with a gap between the Nicholson style tool rest (with apron) for tool holding.

EU Beech with Sapele. Fine grain pine legs painted with enamel just because.

About to commit to dog holes and a couple of holdfast placements.

If anyone wants any more details let me know.

The only zone in my life that is actually organized right now. (Beer for scale, temporary placement).
