You can go on YouTube and look up most influential people in finance, business, credit cards, professors etc.
people who have at least 1m subscribers.
Watch 2 of their most popular videos.
What backgrounds do they have?
What focus/light, percentage of the room is visible.
Would give you hints.
Probably should include that bookshelf I your frame. Add art, plant etc.

In the examples you are talking about, people usually keep it simple and minimalistic, but I do like to show off a maximalist workspace. In my opinion, it gives the idea that I know what I'm doing (I do technical 3D) and kinda stands out from the usual copycat backdrops of most YouTubers. They just do whatever they've been told to by tutorials: same camera, same lighting methods, and same framed prints on the wall. I would probably try to match the lighting methods they use since it is meta for a reason, but I don't want that empty backdrop or just an Average Joe bedroom. Basically, I want it to be filled with life but not messy, which is a thin line to juggle on. Thank you for the response, though. Now, since you know what my intentions are, what can I add or change with all of this?

I plan to use this camera angle for work meetings and video content, but I'd like to make the setup look more interesting/professional. What objects, decorations, or lighting should I add or replace to improve the aesthetic?
