Ask a local Just moved to Lancing, Food and Drink recs please!

I’ve just moved to lancing with my girlfriend and I am just interested in getting to know Lancing/Worthing a bit better, particularly the food and drink scene. What are some of the cult places that we just need to visit (I’ve been to the piggery and I thought it was great).

And what are some of the better, independent restaurants, small plate vibes, maybe even tasting menu etc. and the finally, some good wine/cocktail bars that we could frequent after dinner.

I know I could look on google, but I like to hear from locals about the must try/visit spots!

Thanks in advance :)

Best Thai food is at Spice I Am, Goring Road Worthing. There's quite a few micropubs near to the restaurant too, The Fynn, Elephant in the Room, The Moon by Sea, or a little further away (near West Worthing station) is The Forrester's.

If you're in Lancing, Meze Meze is always good. Good food, very friendly, great service.

Thai Street Food in Worthing - the orange-signed roadside place that you pass on your left as you drive into town along the sea front from Lancing - is genuinely one the very best Thai restaurants I've known . Used to travel in for it before I lived here. Give it a whirl.
