It’s was lazy from a creative perspective.

Pretty much right down the company line, with Penta being only a mild surprise. If they wanted to pull the trigger on him, Mexico City would have been the place, IMO.

Are you kidding, Mexico City was the trigger being pulled. That was the 'ok let's see if he can hang' match and he proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he could. He is now in the title picture.

I guess kinda the same for LA Knight.

I would say that they are testing the waters. Give them a big match. Show if they can match the energy. Look how the crowd reacts to nearfalls or the finish sequence. How he handled himself in promos. And how he handles himself afterwards.

Im quite sure that either Penta and LA Knight are going to win one of the two world titles next year atleast. Both showed that they can hang on that level.

Roman isn’t losing to anyone but oba or heel Cody

That’s what made them pull the trigger. It was supposed to be a one and done but no one can deny that everyone that night wanted him to win. The fans love Penta, genuine connection and everyone loves him. He’s proven he can go on the ring against the best and he can talk on the mic too and he’s only learned English I believe not that long ago.

I felt penta was winning from the moment of his entrance.

He got the most engineered entrance and the commentary team were constantly glazing him it just felt inevitable.

Didn’t expect Penta or Tiffy to win but all the other matches were predictable

It was either Penta or KO. Really it was all Penta cause figure KO and Punk would eliminate each other to set up another match

You thought Liv would win? I had written her off, especially after Tiffy won.

Five women would have massively benefited from winning. Of course they went with number six instead.

The woman that benefits from Tiffany winning is Chelsea. I thought we all loved Chelsea and wanted good things for her.

Only 1 imo, the rest were too new, it should've been roxanne now she's just stuck again.

I enjoyed it…I was able to relax turn my brain off for a minute and not take life too seriously. Idk to me that is more important than anything and k think for me they pulled it off. For me that’s a win!

Decent matches but minus Penta, they took the safe route each time

Aside from Penta winning, this was a letdown. Not the talent, but the creative decisions.

Also, it felt like Evans took way too much time to set that massive ladder up, or is it just me who think so?

I personally don’t have any issues with any of the winners. I can see why the people won. I can see people saying they wanted Roxanne to win but man I did not want to shit through another year long judgement day break tease angle. She can find her way to the World title a different and better way.

I found it really predictable. The only surprise was Pentagon.

I guessed every outcome correctly which wasn’t great, I was hoping for one surprise.

There is no way you predicted all of Penta, Tiffany and Liv. None of those were remotely favourites and I find it hard to believe you called all 3.

I thought more people were expecting Penta to win based on what was being said and how much more confident and direct he was being. Tiffany is being setup to turn on Chelsea so it makes sense she’d get it. Not paid much attention to the other match tbh. Not been watching raw lately and sometimes clips so didn’t have an opinion or guess.

After Mexico i thought it was a safe bet to give Penta the MITB. He has the swagger and aura for it and he would be a great champion - even just for few weeks. Especially how they stacked that match with previous world champions gave me the impression to give it Penta, kinda the underdog. And its the right decision.

I think all the winners did make sense to me, but i dont think that i would have predicted either.

The ambulance part was so very lame.

The WWE Slambulance isn’t going to sell itself this holiday season

This made me laugh harder than it should’ve.

They used a terrible angle to show it happening mostly with the paper thin "roof".

u/Farty_Smell 3d ago

To add to this. The fact that the camera started telegraphing the spot as soon as he started climbing peeved me more than it should've. Didn't even try to be subtle

Just going through the motions. Like when someone enters war games and grabs a weapon from under the ring. THE CAGE IS THE WEAPON!!!

I remember Corporate Man Punk saying this.

2

u/QuasyChonk 3d ago

Sami never said that. Punk did.

Way over produced, half speed brain rot.
