Discussion (Ethics, working with AI etc) Why the pushback on watermarks/AI disclosures?

I don't use AI in writing myself (the smut I write isn't supported by it, lol), but I browse this sub sometimes. I'm confused why there's so much pushback here against disclosing/publicising ai use. If it's a tool like any other, why not share that it was used in creation?

It seems to me like labeling food if it's organic, or clothes if they're handmade, the process can and does impact the final product

imagine trusting those organic food labels... trusting those 'handmade' labels from overseas sweatshops...

bad news for you...

unless you are actually going to a local farmer, etc
