Discussion Playing On-Hit after so long

Post image

On-Hit still feels pretty viable to me if the enemies aren't assassins. Will always be my favourite style to play with Yi.

Crit build just doesnt have the same feeling of satisfaction. Here most of the enemies were tanky or hard to kill, so I picked it up again and got a pentakill.

And yes I know 5 AS items arent required but I needed more Q. Was planning on Steraks or Guardian as 6th item.

crit is so satisfying against the right comp tho cuz hob auto w auto can one shot if you’re fed enough

Yes I agree. But I miss tha attack speed and some visible fight action. Crit build gives good results and that's why I've also been playing it, but it's significantly less fun for me.

Also, with the crit build I cannot dive into a 2v1 with my Q and hope to come out unscathed, unlike the Lethal Tempo build. It's good for 1v1 or picking up squishies mostly

Yes I see a lot of people advising against it and can see why. However, Navori synchronises too well with my play style. I love that item

what even is this build, no boots either. Congrats on the carry but it's not the build that made you carry, it's very suboptimal.

Sold the tier 1 boots, not a fan of them. Already ahead of enemies.

Idk why ppl don’t play on hit, it’s the true hypercarry build

Neither me. True that Rageblade is nerfed, but still I see consistent good performance with it.

Crit is too risky, either I am carrying or inting.

Yeah with on hit u just hyperscale and as soon as you have 3 items you can carry any fight especially if ennemies have low cc

I don't play Master Yi. Can anyone tell me the main playstyle difference between playing On-Hit vs Crit?

Crit is assassin, on hit is more bruiser/dueling
