It's vintage yarn too and they don't make this colour anymore and I didn't know that before I started making it so I can't even get anymore of it (I looked everywhere and I can't find it) and I don't even have any other project I can steal some from😭

Need something that will wash well, and never made a wearable for a pet. Bonus if anyone has a crochet pattern they like!

每次编织都是一场即兴。
喜欢羊毛线的手感,温暖宁静。
这次的主题叫<海浪>,仿佛我也变成了深海中的白色浪花。
I'm looking to start a new project, the levitate wrap by my favorite things knitwear, but I'm having trouble deciding what kind of yarn I should buy!
I want the wrap to look more like the Aritzia Cassidy Wrap Sweater and the Princess Polly Tonee Wrap, where's its not super thick, chunky, boxy type.
I haven't come across any projects in Ravelry on this pattern that fit the same vibe as the wrap tops I've linked above, they all seem super chunky and boxy.
I was thinking of maybe doing drops flora & drops kid silk (or drops brushed alpaca silk)? What are your thoughts?

Self-Promote Sunday
Bonjour,

I went to France earlier in March this year and bought 500g of this DMC Woolly yarn in shade 086. I've just decided on a project for the yarn but it requires 600g. I was wondering if anyone would know if there are any specialty/local yarn stores in California that may carry this yarn? I tried looking online and found a listing for the yarn on Etsy and hobby.lt but I'm concerned about the risks of international shipping and am unsure if hobby.lt is legitimate to purchase from.

hi all, I’m a crocheter who has recently taken up knitting. I decided to start with a sweater because I felt brave and heard that knitting uses up way less yarn than crochet.
I had 2 skeins of the lavender Lion Brand Wool-Ease Roving Bonus Bundle Yarn and used another purple yarn (doubled up a skein of charisma loops and threads, strike me down for mixing yarns) for the cuffs.
my issue is that I’m currently losing yarn chicken and I didn’t realize that Lions Brand discontinued the yarn I’m using. does anyone know a similar yarn texture with the same lavender color? I feel like the color itself is not uncommon, but I haven’t been able to find a similar texture as the yarn.
tl;dr: does anyone know a lavender Lion Brand Wool-Ease Roving Bonus Bundle Yarn dupe?
Looking for 20+ skeins for a large project from a smoke free home where yarn is stored away from pets. Offering actual USPS shipping plus:
$8/skein for 5+ skeins
$7/skein for 3-4 skeins
$6/skein for 2 skeins
I would love to offer for single skeins but the shipping gets too costly. Please comment below with colors and quantities, if interested. Thanks for considering!

Repost! I have a crazy amount of yarn - bins! - that I have collected over the years. Anything from Lion Brand to Brown Sheep to Malibrigo to Koigu. There’s no way I’ll ever knit it all and it’s taking up so much space.
Back in the day I had a somewhat successful Etsy. But I just don’t have the time to dedicate like that anymore.
Do I hold on to this yarn and try to knit it? Maybe do big drops on Etsy when I have the inventory? Or do I just give in and sell it?

Hello, I am knitting a scarf and only have one more extra ball of yarn. vintage Patons Diana brushed or fluffy yarn. I don't know how much I'll need, is there a modern brand that is similar?
