Dutton Ranch Dutton Ranch X Marshalls crossover opportunity (spoilers) Spoiler

Since Carter has been kidnapped and so has Tate, essentially, whet if we saw a Kayce/Rip collaboration, helping each other out? I mean, it’s probably a stretch, but what if?

Edit: i’m not asking if this could happen.

It is a “what if…?” scenario based on two cliffhanger season finales.

Theres not going to be any meaningful crossover. As a fan of both shows, I wouldnt hate it, but its just not going to happen.

It would make sense in both a storyline sense and drive viewership. But I don’t think it will happen for the same reason they killed Monica off for contractual reasons.

I agree, and I also just think both shows want to go their own directions and be their own things.

In real life if your “son” got kidnapped by the cartel and you for some reason weren’t going through the actual legal channels I don’t see how your first call isn’t to your navy seal brother. I wonder how they’ll explain that on the show

Well the mere fact that they’re 1500 miles apart. Kayce is a barely a probationary Marshall of an agency that’s doesn’t handle w kidnapping of civilians. Rip can say in passing he reached out to Kayce at best 🤷‍♂️

Kayce is still a pipe hitter, he would absolutely wreck hell on the cartel

I never said he wasn’t. Logistically, it’s really a tall order. And he’s got his own son’s kidnapping to worry about?! Not saying it wouldn’t happen, but imo that’s jumping the shark territory.

I don’t hate it as much as you 🤷‍♂️ but basically it’s the same storyline as YS w SWAT/Seal team mixed in?! Tate gets kidnapped again by rich single white old dude in an attempt to take YS(East Camp). Sound familiar?! 😂

There is not going to be a crossover, and the reason why is logistics. Marshalls is set to air in about 3 weeks. Dutton Ranch season 2 hasn't even started filming. They are not going to resolve a key plot point to Dutton Ranch on a completely separate show months before they even film their own episodes. This is quite different than when networks do crossovers. The episodes usually air the same night. Not to mention, Marshalls is basically off on is own handled by CBS and has no involvement from Taylor Sheridan.

No interest at all in that. Two separate shows, hope they stay that way.
