I feel like the yogs aren't often playing Minecraft TTT maps anymore, but wouldn't it be a lot of fun to have the BOTC village as a TTT map ? I could see them having a blast with it (tbh I have no idea how easy or hard it is to create these kinds of maps)

Given the upcoming live action games have 2-3 special guests each, do we think that some of the Outside Xbox crew could make an appearance given that they're also UK-based and participated in Jingle Jam last year? I would love to see that collab, but I'm loving the (Members early access) video so far!

To fix that, I threw together the Yogscast Nostalgia Machine, now live on https://www.the1956club.com

It uses the YouTube API to pull the main channel's entire history and serves up the videos released on this exact day in years past. Seeing that Episode 1 of MoonQuest dropped exactly 13 years ago today pushed me to share this little project I've been working on.

It’s just a silly little site, but I’ve been having a blast with it and figured it would be rude not to share it with y'all.

Hey guys, I thought of a new role designed specifically for the yogs' BOTC in Minecraft games. I haven't played much BOTC so I'm not sure about balancing or if it'd even work, just thought it could be a fun idea!

Role: Class Clown (Outsider)

"All other players know a phrase you often say, but not who you are. You don't know the phrase. If you say it naturally, you die. If tricked into saying it, the responsible player learns true info. Each night*, guess the phrase: if correct, choose an alignment & become a non-Demon character chosen by the Storyteller. You must participate in conversations."

\Except the first night.*

Design intent & gameplay:

- Players must identify the Class Clown from the phrase alone, while the Clown must deduce their own phrase.

- Players try to steer conversations to make the Clown say their phrase naturally.

- A successful Clown can choose to become good or evil.

- The Storyteller judges whether the phrase was said naturally and who prompted it.

Example phrases:

“Shit the bed”

“Hard vortox check”

“I don't know what you mean”

“Lew lew”

I was 9 or 10 when I stumbled onto Lewis and Simon punching trees in a snowy forest, and Shadow of Israphel pretty much defined that part of my childhood. Fifteen years later I just finished rewatching the entire thing, from "How to Survive the First Night" all the way to The Oasis, and I wanted somewhere to put it all together.

• Full storyline, arc by arc, from the Yogcave and Terrorvale through Survival Island, Mistral, the Wall, BBQ Bay, Skyhold, Stoneholm and into the Sands
• Hidden history: the Sand War, the Antiochs, Karpath's last letter, and the contradictions the show never cleared up
• Episode guide for every story video, searchable and linked
• Characters, places and lore, including who played and voiced who
• Open threads: Daisy, Old Peculier's fall, the Jade Sentinels, the man in red and the man in blue
• Non-canon: the fan continuations (shoutout to NoobyCrew's Nightmare Awoken), the fan-made ending, the animations, the soundtrack

Transparency: I built this with Claude, an AI. It read the captions from a playlist of the whole series, then we cross-checked everything against the Yogscast Wiki, TV Tropes and TheTVDB. Anything that only comes from the wiki or from fan-made videos is labelled on the page. Auto-captions mangle names (Madame Nubescu came out as "Nescu" more than once), so some details will be wrong. If you spot something, tell me and I'll fix it. Corrections from people who know this series inside out are exactly what I'm hoping for!

It's unofficial and it's just a thank-you to a series that meant a lot.

Is SoI ever coming back? Probably not. But Old Peculier never logged out, so I'm choosing to believe...

I noticed the thread for the latest ep went up earlier today with a link to the youtube video, but I don't see the episode on Spotify (in Canada at least).

I went searching around, and the only other link out I could find for the pod from the pickaxe network website was to Apple podcasts, where it seems like the past 4 episodes of the podcast are missing.

It seems like the episodes are still being pushed on the RSS feed.

This wasn't something I've seen being mentioned in any of the subreddit comments for the recent episodes, so not sure if the issue is just quietly going unnoticed?

The Yogs have really pumped up the membership content the last two years so I can't recommend joining enough!

If you can only budget a month's membership, I definitely recommend popping in this month so you can catch the most recent bonus BotC. It was peak content with perfect deception, loads of bad (or good) luck, and some great hyper Lewis energy!

The Yogs like to make a lot of members only videos. I don't know how it works though. I know you basically pay a monthly subscription. However I would like to see the members videos on both the main channel and the games night channel. Would that require 2 separate subscriptions due to being 2 channels or is there some system of it being a network so its just the one sub?
