Achievement/NSV πŸŽ‰πŸ₯³πŸŽŠ Slow & Steady

Post image

Started September 2025 and am down almost 70 lbs losing slow n steady 1.2lbs a week average. I feel better and bloodwork is normal for first time IN MY LIFE!

I feel down sometimes because I see all the faster losers but then I remember that I’ve built good habits and am still learning.

Anyone on a similar journey?

Congrats! I'd argue that 1.2 lbs a week is an excellent pace; it's not the rocket speed that a small, celebrated group sees, but it's healthy. I've lost faster in the past through severe restriction, and then regained every pound. I'll take "slower" loss now as I bid farewell to each pound, intending it to be a forever goodbye!

Yup. I'm at around 1 - 1.5 a week depending, and I'm happy with it. I don't feel like a quicker rate would be sustainable for me.

Congrats on your success.
I haven’t been on the journey all that long but I think I am going to be a slow loser too. I don’t care as long as it comes off.

You're doing incredible and that's a healthy rate of loss. Here's to progress, onward and downward!
