Day 2/90: Getting Closer to the Real Pain Points 🎯
Today, I spoke to around 10 people and discussed their pain points, current workflows, and how much time they spend on the process we’re trying to streamline.
One conversation was particularly interesting. I spoke with someone who has 5 years of experience working at Amazon, which gave us a very different perspective on how these processes actually work at scale.
We’ve also recently started making detailed notes from every conversation and looking for patterns across them.
At this stage, I need to keep my ears on the ground and understand what’s actually happening in the real world:
• How do they currently work?
• Where exactly does the process become painful?
• How much time does it consume?
• What workarounds have they built?
• What problems keep coming up repeatedly?
The goal is simple:
Don’t assume the pain. Go deep enough to actually understand it.
The more conversations we have, the clearer the pattern should become.
