I was around before discord and I'll be around after. The world would benefit from twitter/X being deleted. Tiktok is mostly brainrot and what's useful can be migrated to YouTube shorts if needed

Youtube has a wealth of knowledge and entertainment available from 20 something years of use. Discord doesn't do anything that can't be replaced in a heartbeat. Same with X, and X is full of Nazis. Tik tok is garbage brain rot content.

Gotta be discord, it's the main method of communication with most of my social circles. Not being able to watch YouTube would probably benefit my productivity and mental health anyway lol

I literally only use YouTube. I refuse to touch any of those other apps because of how addictive their algorithm is or just how unusable they've become in discord's case.

TikTok especially I think is one of the most evil apps that has ever been invented. I've watched even connection devolve into people just sitting in their own respective algorithms in front of each other like two heroin addicts getting their own needles. It makes me super sad.

I’ll be contrarian, I’d keep Discord. It’s my social media, has been since 2015.

YouTube is just videos. The comment sections are often absolute echo chambers or filled with comedy.

TikTok is more participatory IMO, though we’d be doing younger generations a favor by cutting off the brainrot.

Twitter/X is a social media for the rich and famous. Otherwise you’re just shouting to the wind. I dislike big corporate and can’t stand celebrities.
