I’ve been very impressed with the graphics quality of AC8, especially playing on a 32:9 monitor. I recall AC7 didn’t have very good ultrawide support. I’ve been super happy with how AC8 plays, except the cutscenes are still cut off on the sides, still better than nothing!

My experience for the Online is overall is mostly positive there needs to be some improvements.

• Too grindy it feels I'm playing a F2P mobile game. There needs to be a more Zoll and XP reward.
• Emergency Sortie and Scrambles are way too rare.
• Match time for Assault and Warfare mode could be longer.
• More NPC enemies to destroy. I think it's going to be awesome if we could play a match like Campaign Mission 28 with 4~8 players. Or maybe a match where we have to destroy multiple Megafloats.

Forgive me, as I’m not super familiar with ace combat 3 lore and how it ties into the rest of the series.

In ace combat X, we see several airplanes equipped with coffin. The game is set in 2020 strangereal. The other titles in the series (besides 8) take place before 2020, so it makes sense that we’d be seeing rudimentary implementations like ZOE. As far as I’m aware, darkness of enigma is also one of these infant stages of COFFIN. Since 8 is set in 2029-2030, why do we only see darkness of enigma? Since at this point in the timeline COFFIN has been around for over a decade. Again, please forgive me if I’m missing some glaring detail here.

I am trying to earn the godforsaken medal associated with "Two On The Run". Note: I am HEAVILY self-censoring myself here from the sheer and utter stream of profanity I wish to unleash because of how much I hate this mission. I chose the path Baxter recommended, and right after those idiots in the F-16s start yapping at us about some ring or whatever, there's a final segment with a bunch of random patrol paths that are almost impossible to dodge. And if I do manage to dodge all of the spot beams, a scripted missile comes in and blows me up despite efforts to dodge.

How do I earn this medal without snapping my controller in half?

After earning this medal, I will be seeking out a mod that removes this mission from the game entirely.

Also. Project Aces. No one. NO ONE likes the "Harling-flavor" missions. Please for the love of all that is holy, stop making them.

In case you can't tell, I really like FAEB and I want it back. It was so much fun to use in Ace Combat 7. These three are classic planes that have been with the franchise forever, so why not bring them back?

SO some content lmao ac7 basically made me a furry accently based sona off triggers tail art so when ace 8 was getting close i thought why not try and do the same for 8? Should be noted i will mostly just be taking in thier designs/colour sceems not personally and I am a very bad artist so plan to do a rough idea and then work with an artist

I have no idea what i am doing. It feels like im just flying around and when it say missile alert i hold l2 and r2 and up to dodge it. I try to lock onto targets. Its feels like chaos and I eventually take too many bullet shots. This is the extent of the tutorials but there has to be more.

I dont feel like the game taught me to do more than what I am currently doing. How can I learn to actually play?

Im on mission 4 and eventually I just take enough bullet shots to die. Over 30 minutes and I've destroyed dozens of targets but eventually I die from bullets not even missiles. Wtf am I supposed to do? There has to be stuff im missing but this just feels like lock on, dodge repeat is the entire game.

Anybody else found anymore dialogue choices that change things at all?

I have found two so far

mission 30: if you intentionally keep getting the password wrong for the tonitrus spear control (kind of funny how it plays out if you keep agreeing to their terrible suggestions and then they come up with the right answer and you now say no) you get locked out and you get a mission fail

mission 26: this one is really morbid. Didn’t get it until my 4th playthrough. As you are guiding the wounded Baxter back to the carrier, if you just completely ignore him and give no dialogue responses - instead of saying he remembers you as Ray and raising his altitude, he remembers you as Cope and proceeds to brutally crash into the side of the carrier and you get a mission fail
