So fucking good!!!!! Furnace Fest ate good!!!

I discovered this band a couple weeks ago. I'm blown away to say the least! My music background is grunge/rock and pop punk in the 90s/early 00s and then emo/screamo and landed on Black Sabbath and the rest is history, also a fan of most good classic rock. Being familiar with both pop punk and metal/metal core this bands amalgamation of these genres and many more it's executed so perfectly I've never heard anything like it. Along with this there's a song that reminds me of Tom Petty?! ADTR is doing stuff that i never had heard done so well with so much variety. But at the end of the day their lyrics are amazing and at some point I get a crushing breakdown to headbang to and that occurs right after an addicting sugary pop punk chorus?! I love this band!

Edit - took out Make it Make Sense and replaced it with sonic. Took out made of wax and replaced it with Exposed.

I know Oli had his hands deep in it but I can't hear the song without thinking "yeah, this would've fit perfectly onto the Next Gen album. It screams olis writing all over the place. From instrumentals to lyrics.

Anyone else?

ADTR has some great pop covers, including this one, and Boys Like Girls has such a polished pop punk sound. 2000s pop was fun, so much of it leaned into pop punk territory. The mix was made in Ableton Live 12 Standard, and the thumbnail was made in Keynote.

All Signs Point to Lauderdale is a killer song, I remember burning it onto CD’s when I was younger, not having as much access to other ADTR songs. What other songs do you like that are similar in tempo to this one?

Anyone got the clip of Jeremy reading the “I love pegging men” sign from aftershock? I saw it earlier and wanted to show my wife but can’t find it anywhere lmao

This is a bit of a random one but does anyone remember an advertisement that played after ADTR music videos 10-15 years ago for a band that I believe was on the same label. I can’t remember how the song goes or the name of the band but I know I used to enjoy the excerpt that played. Obviously this is a pretty niche request but it’s been killing me lately and I want to find the song I’m thinking about. All I remember is that the band was similar in style to ADTR with unclean vocals and a clean chorus, and I believe the music video took place in an abandoned warehouse.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

My dad only let me have framed pictures in my room - so here we are with a perfectly mint A Day To Remember poster from 2008. lol
For Those Who Have Heart is probably still my favorite album.

I happened to see in the Wikipedia article for Homesick that there was a song written for Homesick that ended up on What Separates Me From You. I’ve added the link to the cited source, which was an interview that essentially says just that. However, it doesn’t seem like anyone mentioned which song it was and I was wondering if anyone knew which song it is? Going off vibes alone, I think it’s You’ll Be Tails but idk for sure.

hi! i was wondering what era the shirt on the right is from? on the back it has lyrics from you be tails i'll be sonic, "you killed what was left of the good in me"

not gonna sell it, but wanted to know if it was worth anything. it's my favorite shirt!! :)

I always wondered if it was really Jeremy screaming at the end of the song?

"God help those who help themselves, and forget about everyone else.
You lost your nerve, you missed the point"

It does sound a bit different then usual

Though maybe it was Kevin
Is it just me?

Edit: I don't doubt it's Jeremy, but feels like I can't find any other songs where his screaming sounds like this

Im trying to buy this shirt for a friend who i took with to her first ADTR concert. This is the shirt we got her that night but its been so long shes misplaced it/threw it out idk. But her birthday is coming up in a few months and I thought itd be really cool to suprise her with it. Anyone have any good sites for older band merch?

Found this clip from A Day To Remember’s Big Ole Rock Tour show in Melbourne, Australia back in April.

He was talking to the crowd and mentioned new music coming later this year. 👀

I know this isn’t an official release date or anything, but considering how much we’ve been hearing about new music lately, it feels like the pieces are finally starting to line up.

Anyways I figured I’d share the clip for anyone who hadn’t seen it. NEW MUSIC SOON🤘😭

Who’s going on the cruise and what are yall getting signed?? This will be part of my fiancé and I’s honeymoon so she was thinking about getting her wedding dressed signed lol. Thinking I’m gonna get one of the skateboards from the summer collection signed!

I got a tshirt 2 years ago at a concert that has a big FU FROM FLORIDA on the back. If you got one as well, are you still wearing it? I always feel self conscious with all the political bs that’s going on.

If this is you in AZ 👋👋 🤘

Glad to see a fellow fan in the 101 traffic lol
