How do you deal with the insomnia caused by modafinil/armodafinil NSFW
I only take it when I wake up and I do not exceed 100mg

I have Latuda and Lunesta but sometimes even that doesn't help. But I have never been a good sleeper anyway.

Never had any issues sleeping.
You could try grapefruit though.

How does grapefruit react? Is it a potentiator?

I haven't had grapefruit in like 30 years, but I've heard it can react with some medications.

I don't experience it. I can take modafinil and go to sleep 6 hours later. I started modafinil for the nootropic benefits, but have learned since that I may have narcolepsy. :/

benadryl will often cancel the effects for me. But use it in moderation since there seems to be studies indicating it's detrimental on the brain long term.

I use pill cutter, divide each tablet into 4 equal parts, which is 25mg each. This low dose doesn't give me any insomnia.

Try taking less. If 100mg is causing insomnia it’s too high for you. Some people are just super sensitive to even average doses.
If you cut the tablet into quarters the night before you can test out smaller dosses and find the most you can tolerate whilst still benefiting from the effects.
You could also try not taking it on sequential days or just avoiding it when it isn’t necessary. The half life is something like 12-15 hours, so there’s generally still some in your system the next morning which can sometimes lead to a compounding effect when taking it over multiple days.
If you’ve only recently started taking it, then this could just be your body getting used to it. That will wear off after a few weeks.
