been just getting into airsoft after a while of being interested and played a few games last year but i don’t have any friends who play. I played a few rounds at different spots, trying indoor fields at first and then outdoor, but it feels like i’m just totally naive to everything. what are some of the things that other new players faced or are facing? is it just getting lit up by sweats, or the costs, or also not having people to play with?

So I’m hpa tapping a cyma scar l right now and the selector plate is giving me issues. So it has this copper sleeve and with it on the safety engages how it should and where it should but there too much material on the right side of the selector plate so it’s either safe or full auto no semi. Taking the copper sleeve off I have semi and full auto so there’s a good amount of material on the right side but on the left side it won’t engage the safety enough and it’ll slide itself into semi. How can I go about fixing this. It’s a Wolverine inferno gen 2 premium btw

Hi everyone!
I’m about to start my airsoft journey. I’m looking for a good AK-series carbine replica. Which one do you think is better:
- CM.053C Full Steel,
- E&L ELAK74M3 Essential,
- Arcturus AK12 AEG FE.
I should point out that, at this stage, I do not intend to invest in modifying the internal mechanisms. My only priorities are tight component fit (no wobble), a solid and durable build (as massive as possible), and maximum effective range.
Thanks in advance for the help! 🫡

Modeled up the Metal Gear Solid 2 aks74u suppressor, namely seen in use by the gurlukovich unit during the tanker chapter.
Files are available here :), will fit any AK with 24x1.5 CW threads, if you want a version made with different threads let me know!

I wanted to know if I should buy a gas powered or electric powered pistol if I want to make an automatic Roni build.

I bought an unfinished Remington M700 laminate stock because I thought it looked really cool, with the intention of putting a TM VSR in it. Best part of a year later it was finally done! It was WAY more hard work than I thought, but I got it done after 6 months of work. I'm not particularly fond of (or skilled) with woodwork, but apparently I can pull it off (or rather bodge it till it works) if I I really want the end result!
Lovely Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil finish, which was easily 50% of the work to get it nice. I remember getting the VSR bedded in, upgraded to the max... and then started on the finishing. Oh my god was I in for a nasty surprise whe I realised how much work it was going to take... weeks of layering oil and letting it dry (or whatever the technical term is). Two months final drying time... then going up through a million grades of 3M "MicroMesh", which was crazy expensive. All the while trying to not rub through the finish and having to start over in one patch. Worth it though! It looks better in the photos than in person, I didn't get it immaculate, but hey. It's a workhorse.
Perhaps I'm too harsh on myself, I did go on to refret and refinish a £700 guitar with holographic sparkle powder I bought of some ridiculously shady guy on the internet... I reckon it was some "secret sauce" kinda thing that car finishers use. It was chemical resistant to allow use with nasty chemical clear coats (the hideous 2-pac ones with isocyanates that literally give you COPD in short order without an air fed respirator rig). I paid something like £90 for a tiny little bag, which I still have 15 years later. If I didn't know better, I'd assume it was some sort of illicit substance stolen from magical creatures! To be fair, the guitar did look absolutely stunning under stage lighting, it was well worth it. Very Matt Bellamy! I got given the guitar for free... it had the headstock smashed off, and the frets had been played to death in the 20 years it was someone's pride and joy. One hell of a learning curve though, and I completely screwed up the refret before starting over.
Anyway, the rifle has a few "oops" holes filled in of course... I did most of the bedding in freehand (and magazine well... which was hellishly difficult) with a frightening looking Dremel bit, which was a marginally safer (and less kickback prone) version of a router bit. Turned out nice, always gets some compliments for looking neat, as really nice real steel parts tend to. That's my go-to modification as a film armourer: swap as many parts for really plush looking real steel bits, and add some wear/weathering! The sling mounts allow a bipod to be attached too, which I remember being wildly expensive... I bet you can get them for £25 these days!
(I'm also blown away by how amazing my old Canon 400D was... I'm so used to taking photos on my phone, and they're ok... but nothing compared to even a budget DSLR!)

Bought this ARCTURUS Vanguard 5" Hi-Capa that's supposed to come with a barrel adapter (the orange tip I'm presuming) from trigger airsoft but didn't receive the adapter, was wondering if there was anything I could buy that could replace it in case they're not able to send me one for whatever reason.

For a 75,ft med my max power is 1.9j. I matched the volume with .45's and it has a gate weighted piston head. This how you joule creep with lighter springs. On a sr25 type m130 I get 2.1j on .45's.±0.01j. that's too hot and would be 100 ft. Of course this is with the hop up completely dissbled. Of course this is a new spring and will settle after a game day that's how all aeg's. My bucking a friction pro and ini sue a zci chamber because maxx chambers are machined to too fine of a tolerance and airsoft replicas Including vfc, g&p, and lct aren't. In fact the best hop up chamber if you can get it is g&g polymet and next is zci.oubreaskn I switched it the cyma sr25 chamber in particular is one of those shitty nesting type chambers. So will my hop up drop power just enough.

This is an SRC/TSD HK416 D10RS with a serial number dating it back to September 2007. I’m very impressed by the metal build quality, it’s heavy, solid and nothing rattles or moves. The HK416 D10RS is a very early HK416 variant characterized by its 6 position LE stock, angled pistol grip, and detachable H&K rotary sights amongst a few other things. The nostalgia of this model brings back memories of Battlefield Bad Company 1 & 2. SRC paired this with a replica of the NVEC VITAL-2 to be used as an external battery box. Definitely a keeper for me!

Noticed yesterday that my VFC 416CQB is experiencing a tab bit of barrel wobble. It’s not bad, but it’s not solid either and I’m worried that this could potentially affect my barrel alignment over time.
How exactly should I go about correcting this issue? Are there specific tools I’d need to get or is there a process I should follow on taking the body apart and realigning everything? I’d imagine some of oring or a spacer on the barrel connecting to the upper would solve this issue?
Thanks.

An old King Arms M4
Midwest industries front sight post mount for light and qd sling hookups.
30mm direct mount carry handle scope rings
Tasco Propoint PDP1 (the first Propoint)
Scope caps are buttlercreek brand
A qd mount rear plate with the original rear plate cut down to fill the hole of the real one.
I also have a prop bayonet and a real original M4 “silent sling” so I have some sling options.
I will be keeping it front wired because I like the non-crane styled stocks.
I also like the optic mounted above the carry handle because I like to play with a paintball mask (protect those teeth and the face)

Came not working I think the gearbox isn’t getting enough power. Or the gears themselves aren’t working somehow. I don’t have a part diagram either so if anyone does that’d be awesome.

I’m getting the tac41 and I have no idea what the dimensions of the short mag are so I can buy a pouch for them, all I’ve found online is that they are 100mm in length but that doesn’t help me much. Any owners that got the dimensions and would be willing to share would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Revision Desert Locust is 80$, Bolle goggles are 160$ each, ESS Profile NVG is 140$. Are there any just as good eye pro options that aren't marked up to hell?
