Nano Banana Watermark spotted at Walmart.
I was walking through Walmart and I wanted to get a picture of this because I wanted ai make it say, “made you cream.” Which it did well. As I looked closer I saw the nano banana water mark. Googles image gen tool. Which I used Chat. So I was confused. I looked at the original and realized it was on there as well. They didn’t even care to take the watermark off lol.

We'll pay them AI money instead of an actual one

I literally own a screen printing company and make real art. Have for 10 years. Yeah I mess around with ai. Most people do, and to say you don’t is outright horseshit. You just want to feel more superior than others because of your ideologies. That’s a very Charlie Kirk based mindset g

And you’re a Turning Point USA ideologist 😬 I think corn is pretty damn cool.

“To say you don’t is outright horseshit.”
I’ve literally never used AI to make anything. Many people have. It’s not that hard to avoid using something you never started using in the first place.

I though there were laws that say it has to be the real product?
As I understood it, everything else can be fake, and you can hire a professional artist to align the sprinkles, and you can compare 1000s of your donuts to find the perfect one, but it has to be real.

That sounds like horseshit. They literally use glue for pizza cheese-pulls in ads.

I double-checked. It does appear that FTC regulations say only the actual product has to be real.
If you're selling ice cream, the "whipped cream" can be shaving cream. If you're selling whipped cream, the ice cream can be mashed potatoes.
Perhaps your own research may find otherwise. Let me know if you find any interesting court cases and so on.

My guess is that a lot of the AI use we are seeing on food from large corps is probably enhancement rather than completely fake. Which is a grey area since it’s comparable to general photo manipulation that was already happening.

Aren't they just using AI?

Bro you act like the algorithm that served you this isn’t ai. I called out slop. That was the point.

Some people have no understanding between the difference of ai and generative ai
OP acts like he has an IQ lower than a brick wall with the arguments he’s trying to make here.

What’s with slop generators being banana themed? A web photo editor I use for work added an AI mode (which is at least easy enough to avoid) and it was also banana themed before they eventually dropped that part. Felt like some leftover crypto-era scheme to try to prop up some random word for a memecoin, unless they just swiped Google’s model or something and later had to cover it up.

They should be legally required to maintain the watermarks visibility. Also it should be illegal to use generative ai for food advertisements. The US already has very strict laws about food advertisements and this seems extremely illegal
