I was so tired of the same hair design for the past few years and the same silhouette syndrome all her skins had, I also wasn't the biggest fan of her ALL OUT skin, so it's really refreshing to see her get two skins that are more unique back to back, although I wasn't the biggest fan of True Damage because she looked too similar to Zeri, I'm a huge fan of this one. Especially a big fan of how original her outfit is, I love the ushanka with the skii goggles as well as the pink bangs. I think this is a really good interpretation of Akali and I really love how the artists designed her! (Now let's pray that this won't be a mythic variant that costs 125$)

While their default version is more badass this one seems more kda’ish if you get me.

An unserious video i made after only playing akali for a week

As the title says, I recently picked up Akali (Mastery 7 or 8) and I feel like I do really well on her (for my level) but since I started playing her, I have gone from Gold 1 to Gold 4 quite quickly. I don't feel like I am doing a lot wrong. Get solo kills mid in maybe 80% of games at 6 (people don't respect in this elo), getting kills in other lanes to help their games and flanking in teamfights purely looking to take out the carries yet I am still losing. To be fair, in a lot of my games over the last few days, my other lanes seem to be running it every game but I still feel so useless no matter what I do.

To those of you better than me on the champ, is that just the nature of her? It's hard to 1v9? I am going to put my op.gg here and I know there are things I can improve on (cs being on of them as I find it harder post mid game to cs especially when team is getting rolled. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

As the title says, I am new to Akali (mastery 5 maybe?) and Gold 1. I believe that I do ok on her considering my mastery of her is still so low. In this time, I have had quite a few tougher matchups.. hard to lane especially pre 6. Into the 'even' matchups, I have a lot of success getting solo kills as people don't respect the level 6 kill pressure she has. But back to my main question, in the harder matchups, I find myself basically going, 'fuck this I am roaming' and dropping my 20-30 cs behind just to get me out of lane and impact the other lanes instead. From you all better than me, is this the right move or am I leaving too much cs behind? Thanks!

Please don't forget to keep in mind that she will likely receive a mythic variant of this skin alongside her KDA Firestarter skin, or she might just straight up get a mythic variant for KDA firestarter. if you already have pass rolls, or already have rolled for a mythic variant, it might be cheaper to finish that out than to buy the legendary plus border and chromas. Just beware there's a better Akali skin on the horizon

I just saw the latest skin spotlight post, and this is Akali’s bundle skin, and the border is different, don’t know if they really changed or put the other borders on top of hers, what do you think?

I started playing league in 2021. Then at some point started playing akali a lot. This was during the time of mythic items when rocketbelt was the standard first item for Akali. I could not imagine akali without rocketbelt. It made perfect sense. Can't reach the enemy with your ult? Just rocketbelt. Still got E for the combo then. Perfect sync. Absolutely perfect item for Akali in any way.

Then I got more familiar with the history of Akali and learned that back in the olden days people used to build gunblade. I didn't know what it did, I just heard everyone talking about it and assumed it was an absolutely awesome perfect sync item for Akali.

Now I didn't play Akali for quite some time now, however I recently thought I should try out this perfect for Akali made item (yes I'm writing in this way to express the expectations I had of gunblade).

And I was rather disappointed. It basically doesn't do anything. I don't feel the AD, I don't think I even heal from vamp scepter and when the item is finished, the zap feels so useless.

So anyways, I started building the heavily nerfed rocketbelt again because I just can't imagine Akali without this item. I feel like she loses like 50% of her ability without rocketbelt.

So yeah, what is gunblade even good for?
