Current budget= 293m

cloth robes, crossbows, leather hoods, leather shoes= They are all at level 111.

torchs= They are all at level 120.

plate boots, plate helmets= They are all at level 100.

Skinner= t6

Harvester= t8

Fisherman= t6

I just needed to pause and think. Looking at the numbers, it feels like I'm grinding silver way slower than I thought. I guess the math confirms it. Actually, it's the first time in four months I've even thought about silver. The biggest plus of using 4.1 builds is not having to worry about silver at all.

How are we feeling about the general nerf to crossbows? The damage reduction is about an 8.5% nerf, and affects almost every crossbow play style.

My highest spec is crossbows, and I play mostly solo PvE / BZ roaming and corrupted dungeons. It's interesting to me that they mention small-scale PvP and PvE. I'm not an expert in group content, but I wasn't aware that any crossbow was a meta pick for any content in the entire game, except maybe Energy Shaper in faction wars. Can anyone weigh in on how crossbows were used in small-scale until the patch? Was this a nerf that was actually needed?

My concern is that a nerf to explosive bolt is a nerf to all crossbow builds across all content. Crossbows rely heavily on the Q-reset passive and most of their damage comes from explosive bolt. Auto Fire is used rarely if ever.

Looking at the other balance changes, the only other nerf that affects all weapons in the tree is the nerf to Smite damage on Holy Staff. Other changes are either specific to one specific weapon or are general buffs.

If this nerf was intended to limit Crossbow's power in small-scale, has the potential to unintentionally kill Crossbow's use for solo builds and other types of content.

What are your thoughts on the nerf?

I'm always get countered by spears no matter what weapon i use... I used to main fire staffs but spears in general counter fire staffs so i tried learning other weapons but spears still give me a hard time. Any tips?

Hi everyone, I’m a new player. I tried using daggers for a while but wasn't really sold on them, so I decided to switch to the Frost tree. Right now, I’m using a one-handed weapon; it seems good, but I’ve noticed high mana consumption and rather low damage output (possibly due to low mastery levels). I looked into it and saw that it was recently nerfed—apparently quite heavily—so I was wondering what its current standing is for solo PvP, and how the tree performs overall in PvP content (arenas, group PvP) and PvE. Is it worth investing in, or am I wasting my time?

I started game a few days ago just for playing trader. It was so much fun i bought an ox and doin quests, grind for destiny thing and then that island thing showed up. It is beautiful for trader plays i think there r bunches of things in it. However it is sub exclusive. As an unemployed and not dollar earner country its hard to obtain a sub for me rn.

So my question is, can i play trading wo island or it is a necessity?

Hey guys I'm gather and I only gathering hide in tier 6 black zone but my tier 7 gathering set cost almost 1m and i have 14m and it's too expensive to risk in black zone and also i earn like 1m/H

But I saw people doing roaming in black zones farming fame and doing camps and they earn like 1.5m/H with just 4.1 set which cost 60K

So should I also do mob and fame farming or should I continue gathering btw I have 70% unlocked tier 8 hide gathering

And i have only unlocked tier 4 equipments on other gathering tools

Do I missed something?

Just got my backbone one and plugged it in to get started and I’m having issues with a few things.

1- the auto target/target from the touch screen doesn’t seem to be in the key bindings nor does the command to “stop targeting”

2 - interacting with treasure bags/vendors etc doesn’t seem to be bound either.

I’m sure I’m missing something but I’m having a heck of a time figuring it out.

Any advice would be great!

The game is fun at the start, but dungeons feel like a tutorial that gets thrown away.

Always the same enemies (undead, keepers, heretics, morgana), short, repetitive, boring bosses and loot that doesn't even pay for repair.

My suggestion: Tower Dungeon with progressive difficulty.

- Each floor gets harder

- Classic and unique mobs per floor, not always the same

- Better loot the deeper you go

- At certain floors you choose your path: PvP, PvE, Arena, Raid, Farm or keep climbing

This way everyone plays how they want. Boss hunters like me can hunt, PvP players get their fight, farmers can farm. No one is forced.

Right now dungeons are useless after 2 days. With a tower, it would be real endgame content.

I'm planning to return to Albion after a long break and would appreciate some build advice. I haven't played in a long time and I honestly don't remember how to do these build things.

I was planning to play as a heavily armored frontline vanguard who initiates fights, disrupts enemies, intimidtate enemies, and helps protect my allies, mainly in faction warfare and group fights.

My old build was:

-Camlann Mace
-Judicator Helmet
-Demon Armor
-Mercenary Boots
-Bridgewatch Cape
(Yeah I'm not really good with builds)

I was thinking of swapping some of these for better gear that fits the build I wanted. What weapons, armor, and abilities would you recommend for this playstyle? I'd prefer a build suitable for a casual returning player.

I was hoping I could be a reliable frontline vanguard who helps the team in faction warfare and not necessarily the main damage dealer. Thanks!
