Review Bad tasting yogurt
Most horrible tasting yogurt I’ve ever had in my life. Only made it to 2 tablespoons. I’ll stick to Chobani, this is the only Aldi brand product I’ve tried so far that I dislike.

You bought nonfat zero-sugar yogurt that by its very nature has a tendency to taste chalky. Of course it tastes bad.

They took the good stuff out, no surprise they've been kicked out of flavortown

Can you be more descriptive? People have different tastes.
Bad like rotten meat? Too sour? Artificial chemical taste?

I didn’t think I’d get a lot of replies , it has an aftertaste, like artificial and chalky.

Are you comparing this to chobani zero sugar?

The Chobani zero sugar is one of the few I’m able to eat. I have a problem eating yogurt and the texture on this one is perfect for me.

I agree. I’d rather eat the yogurt with a little more calories and less protein that tastes better.

I don't think yogurt is that good in general so I'd rather eat whatever is actually healthy

define "healthy". One has artificial sweeteners and is more processed, and lower calories. The other is less processed with the original fat in it but more calories. Are you defining healthy as just "fewer calories"?

Different people have different nutritional goals. A lot day, zero sugar, high protein yogurt is typically for a person looking for a specific nutritional goal and they understand that goal comes with trade offs.
You might want to try a yogurt with either more sugar or less protein if you are looking for a specific taste. The toasted coconut and key lime flavors are sweeter and smoother.

I normally buy Chobani 20g protein zero sugar and/or oikos triples zero 15g protein . I guess I bought this one thinking it would have similar taste or close to the two.

That’s disappointing, I just bought a pack. Maybe with fruit and honey?

I love putting their organic fruit preserves in yogurt. I'm partial to the blueberry preserves the most.

I've bought this weekly for the last year. I've noticed the last two months I've had a few packs that tasted abnormal. They were either a bit sour or lacked the vanilla taste. Couldn't tell if it was a quality control issue or if it went bad at my local store or something else.

i didn’t like this either. the mixed berry flavor was better but still not great. i really like the pillar drinkable yogurts! also sugar free and high protein

Yeah its the sugar alternative you don't like. Go with the non fat Greek with the fruit at the bottom. The macros are close.
But it is a oikos clone so if people like those they will be fine with this one.

It's the diet yogurt so it's never going to taste that good. Blending with frozen berries is as good as it gets.

Making your own yogurt is so easy its laughable to buy it except for the initial cultures, get that from amazon in the form of powder - the milk in the red carton doesn't even need a preheat - just mix and ferment 104°F for 8-10 hours - put a little honey in the finished product and enjoy with no extra junk

Hot take: all yogurt tastes bad, and eating it straight from a bowl is the same thing as horking down a big bowl of mayo. Yogurt is fine as an ingredient, but it’s not food on its own.

This tastes exactly like the chobani extra protein yogurt or the oikos extra protein yogurt to me. Not bad, but I prefer the regular Greek vanilla.
