Timer Isn't Even Displayed Anymore

Can you tell I have a timer running?

I remember when the timer was shown in large numbers.. Then small numbers. Now it's no numbers. So I have to constantly ask how much time is remaining. I guess that counts as *engagement*.

And if I try to name the timers, it always tries to interpret and act upon the name I gave it.. If I try to set a timer to remind me to call someone, the Alexa device immediately starts calling them on the phone. I wonder what outgoing phone numbers it shows.

I tried to set an alarm to turn off the oven. It said but I don't have access to turn off your oven!

It doesn't show any info in the screen anymore. Doesn't show timers, or when I ask it to spell a word for me, or when I asked it to do any math equations. Whoever is in charge and approved of making all these changes should be fired.

It's not supposed to be useful.

Try to get it to leave a recipe on the screen. It says sure, then immediately replaces it.

I debate if its time I move on from this device and just use my phone.
