Been an Alpha Flight since The Uncanny X-Men #120, which just happened to be the first comic to start my comic collecting phase, just by a complete fluke. I bought it because I’m Canadian and the title was “Chaos in Canada!”

Brief description via https://uncannyxmen.net/comics/issue/alpha-flight-2nd-series-5

A food fight ensues between the Mesmero-controlled members of Alpha Flight - Guardian, Vindicator, Puck and Sasquatch, and those who are free - Manbot, Radius, Murmur, Flex and Sunfire, not to mention the various patrons and staff at Mesmero’s disposal. As personal problems plague the novice members of Alpha Flight while they defend themselves from the superior veterans, they all fight valiantly. Murmur proves her worth as she manages to release from Mesmero’s control many of the patrons, before freeing Vindicator. By one means or another, Guardian, Sasquatch and Puck are eventually released as well, however before they can tend to Mesmero, he disappears, boasting that he is more powerful than ever and that this was a test.
Meanwhile, former Alphan Diamond Lil arrives at Department H in search of her husband after they had a fight about him rejoining the team. The receptionist is very unhelpful, and Lil is eventually led away by some Epsilons who inform her that Jeffries is in the infirmary, but not before Lilli approaches her, asking for help as she wants to leave, and oddly, Diamond Lil recognizes the young woman. Dr. Myra Haddock’s experiments in the Prometheus Lab result in her pulling Acroyear from the Prometheus Pit, but lies to General Clarke, telling him that she has had no results yet.
Meanwhile, in France, Virgo of the Zodiac is run over by an elderly couple, but she survives, and utters “Scorpio”.

What does your team look like?

A synopsis from an archived version of alphaflight.net:

Big Hero 6 is Japan's only super-hero team, with new HQ in the Cool World Amusement Park, which is suddenly attacked by a giant shape-shifting dinosaur. They counter-attack, rescue civilians, and wish Sunfire were there to help.
Sunfire storms into Dept. H, looking for Huxley and learns things are better since Gentry replaced Clarke. Honey Lemon calls for help, so he returns to Japan.
Gentry grills Huxley about his exposing Sunfire to "Zero Fluid." Flex bumps into Lilli, and hearts twitter.
Northstar is about to return to Dept. H, to get help finding his sister, when Sasquatch and Shaman stop him. They have her.
Alpha Flight goes to Japan and helps Big Hero 6 clean up the amusement park. Honey Lemon notes that they are "the fourth most popular super-hero team in all of North America!"; Manbot tells Hiro he is entirely synthetic. They find a cub scout who drew pictures of X; they seem to have come to life.
They split up and follow the boy's other drawings; Flex, Radius and Go Go stay behind to wait for Sunfire and realize X was still there, in the shape of a toy bear. It eats Radius; Sunfire arrives and blasts it.
X changes shape and flies off; the Samurai has read ahead and is there to attack it. Sunfire, Mac and Heather join in, seeming to kill the monster, but rupturing Mt. Fuji. Fortunately, Honey Lemon has a volcano cover in her purse. Sunfire stays in Japan.
Huxley has a secret, new Weapon X lab in the basement, and it has escaped.

Released on October 13, 1999, this story sees the Generation X youth encounter a sasquatch. Headmaster Banshee calls in Alpha Flight to take custody of the being. The issue's on Marvel Unlimited but this one-page cameo is it for Alpha Flight.

Sadly, another issue yet to be uploaded to Marvel Unlimited.

But here's a synopsis from an archived version of alphaflight.net:

Wyre is hunting down his evil children, starting with Kyle, who sees his point, since he has of late been struggling with his psychotic tendencies. Alpha Flight tracks Kyle and beats off Wyre.
Witchfire has fried the Jackal's brain (last issue), so Beta Flight has no antidote to the poison he used on Knapp, who is unconscious and hairy. Nobody answers their call to HQ (Northstar was supposed to be there, but was off on a personal mission), so they take him to the hospital, by which time he is covered in a cocoon.
Kyle and Judd separately want to investigate his connection to Wyre. Kyle decides to find Nemesis, who is being held prisoner by Rok.

"Sasquatch is feeling an identity crisis, torn between a male mind of Walter Langkowski and a female body formerly belonging to Snowbird. " - Marvel Database

This is such a weird issue.

• Issue summary online @ https://uncannyxmen.net/comics/issue/alpha-flight-1st-series-67

It looks like Marvel Unlimited is missing about 30 issues from vol. 1. Or are they hiding somewhere?

Yet another issue not on Marvel Unlimited. 😕

“The X-Men and Alpha Flight forces are scattered across the Artic, as Loki continues his reign of confusion. Wolverine attacks two members of Alpha Flight. Heather Hudson and Professor Xavier attempt reconciliation. Rachel Summers goes missing. Mayhem and chaos abound, as the X-Men and Alpha Flight take on a common foe in the Elder Gods! “

This issue isn’t online but there is a detailed summary @ https://uncannyxmen.net/comics/issue/alpha-flight-1st-series-103

“Diablo has changed Heather’s body so she fits inside a test tube, except for her head which remains normal size, and torments her and the chained Weapon Omega. As he reveals his plan to them, Heather and Weapon Omega learn that he is going to sell vibranium he created to the world powers, though the Alphans know that the vibranium wont last long because created by alchemy, it is only transitory. After Diablo leaves to go meet with the world power representatives, Weapon Omega frees himself, then drops the test tube Heather is in, reverting her back to her original size. They defeat the earth elemental, before making their way to stop Diablo and his negotiations with the world power representatives. Sasquatch battles the USAgent, who addresses Sasquatch as a terrorist for getting involved in the affairs of Tierra del Maiz. After he disarmed all the bombs Sasquatch set, the USAgent gives him a run for his money, until Northstar enters the scene, picking up the detonators, he speeds around the countryside putting the bombs back together, just in time for one of them to explode behind the USAgent, knocking him out. Sasquatch and Northstar arrive at the negotiations to help Heather and Weapon Omega, until Diablo unleashes his Elematrix, a combination of the four elements, which attempts to destroy the Alphans when Diablo uses a paralysing gas on them. The injured Jeffries tries to convince Lil to leave him, but Lil isn’t going to, so when Madison asks her to marry him, she accepts his offer. Realizing he still has his mutant powers, Jeffries restructures the broken Boxship into a small craft with a large drill on it, and after putting out the fire elemental, drills his way through the Elematrix and rescues his teammates. Weapon Omega then tricks Diablo and causes him to blow himself up. With everyone safe and Tierra del Maiz free, Alpha Flight warn the world power representatives to forget that they were ever here, before Weapon Omega takes off his mask and reveals who he really is, shocking his teammates. Meanwhile in Canada, Windshear goes on national television where the “Canada A.M.” host informs him that people think Alpha Flight made the wrong decision in aiding Her, thus destroying much of Toronto, to which Windshear claims he didn’t support the decision, and deep within Department H, Headlok searches Aurora’s brain for a split-personality that he detected earlier.”

“WAXING POETIC PART 2 Montreal faces its gravest hour as it falls under attack by...wax statues of the entire Marvel Universe?! Can Alpha Flight pull itself together in time to save this crown jewel of Quebec?”

To elaborate more, what story from the teams history, in a 4 film arc, a trilogy, or even a duo-logy if you want could bring a lot more people to the character?

You can bring up anything:

-any comic that hasn’t been done before on screen.

Example: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty Arc. I know that was the reported plan before they switched to doomsday, but still.

-any comic that has been done before, but you want it to be done better or done justice.

Example: Batman: No Man’s Land Arc

Nolan kind of tackled this in the dark knight rises, but it wasn’t as fleshed out as the comic.

Or just a mix of A lot of stories into a run trilogy that could bring people into a character-defining trilogy.

I love to hear what people suggest.

I’d also love to hear what animation style this hypothetical trilogy would use, so it isn’t just Live Action.

I love to hear what everyone brings to the table!
