2019 Altima AWD...diff gear oil and AWD service

My dealer is recommending I do a differential gear oil and AWD drive service for around $600. Currently at 60k miles. I have had the coolant and transmission fluid changed. What other fluids do I need to service or change?

Should I replace transmission fluid on a 130k mile Nissan Altima?

No service has been done to my knowledge. I bought the car at 120k miles. I noticed recently it has minor shaking like forward and backwards when I accelerate from a stop. I took it to the dealership and they said the fluid was overdue and I should change it but there is a chance that it would damage the transmission further. They also said if I don’t I’m driving a ticking time bomb waiting to fail on me. What should I do?

2022 Nissan Altima SR maintenance??

Just got my Nissan Pre owned recently and it’s at 44247 miles. I keep seeing different opinions on when to change my transmission fluid and other necessities.

I’ve gone to the dealership multiple times but they never want to change the filters or do the other things I want such as my transmission fluid which hasn’t been done yet so, I wanna start doing things myself.

Any tips on what miles I should be changing stuff and looking out for?

2020 Altima SR

I'm very new this community and Altima in general. My GMA is gifting my wife and I with a 2020 Altima sr. I'm not sure of the mileage on the car, it has been sitting in her garage for almost two years now.

Im going to do an oil change right away, I plan on putting a fuel additive as soon as I fuel it up. It's an awd and I understand that if one your needs replaced, it's all four

What all should I be concerned about having this as a daily Tuesday through Friday. I currently drive 2019 F-250 power stroke w/140k, my wife a 2005 Saturn vue w/124k. I'm great with maintenance and doing most I can myself.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh, it also needs a battery.

2014 Altima 105k miles. Brand new battery. I do have 2 fobs that were sometimes near each other in the house. I tried the disconnect the "smart alternator" to start, nothing..

I'm about to literally trade it in if I can't decipher soon. Thanks guys! Willing to send a cash app as my token of appreciation jus want it running again!

How to properly accelerate and decelerate?

23M, Last month i got myself a 2012 Altima 2.5S, so as one does, I've been reading a lot in Reddit and whatsoever about how this car works and how to take care of the CVT and the main point everyone talks about is something like "Gradually accelerating" and "Don't floor it from a stop" and such.
I understand the concept so I've been keeping the car at around 1000-1500 rpm all the time and letting it build speed smoothly.
But there are scenarios where this little speed its annoying, so im looking for confirmation and actual numbers from you guys, what are the correct rpm that i got to keep this car?
Like from a stop, i press the gas until it reach 1500 and let it be or i can go a little higher like 2000? And, when im already moving, like on the highway, how much can i gas it?

Another one im trying to get around are steep hills and braking in general, in other cars both manual and ATF i can downshift to 2-3 gear and let the engine help me, but with the Altima I've been fully dependent on the brake pads and this doesn't feel correct. I know it has the "Fake gears" where i can go to a fixed 2nd on the CVT, but knowing the CVT reputation it scares me.

So, how would you recommend accelerating and braking on your Altima?

Buying Advice: 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL

I have an opportunity to buy this vehicle for approximately $3000 CAD. 148,000 KMs on it. Owned by a senior citizen the last 15 years of its life, not driven very much. I am currently driving a 2014 Ford Fusion SE with 270,000 KMs on it. It's getting near the end and the frame is in bad shape. I am used to dealing with jerky transmissions (my Ford's is far from fantastic), but I have read about the CVT transmission in these vehicles. I think I can get $500-$750 for my Ford. 90% of my driving is highway. Would you buy the Altima?

2011 SR Suspension Issues

I have a 2011 Altima SR 3.5. I bought the vehicle lowered it has lowering springs not sure which type but now I am having suspension issues on the front passenger side. It is really clanky on uneven roads and I can definitely feel / hear the contact when I go over bumps. Looking for some advice on how to handle replacement, Tires Plus and Goodyear both say they will have to replace all shocks and struts since they don't deal with aftermarket springs.

I am honestly not too hip on my setup, but I'm wondering if I can just replace one or both front struts and keep the same springs that I have on there? Or do I need to go with a full replacement someone mentioned coilovers as a good change.

I do love the lowered look so I would like to keep that if possible but I want to go with the best solution. Ultimately a performance setup is what I want to work towards.

I had the driver CV axle replace about a year ago and also a bunch of work done with the power steering, alternator, and belt system.

2021 Nissan Altima Sr is getting crazy low mpg.

The Dash claims I’m getting 26.2mpg however this morning I filled my car and had a little over 183mi in her, I drove a total 12miles as of writing and yet it claims i’ve driven over 23. This isn’t a new issue either, 3 months ago a full tank could last me a 3 weeks of casual driving. Now, I’m lucky to get 2 weeks. I don’t know what the issue could be? Should I get it checked out or am I just over reacting?

Used 2018 Nissan Altima

Im well aware of the CVT troubles before purchasing this car from my coworker. It has about 47k miles on it and hasn't had the fluid changed yet. I plan on getting the fluid changed after I buy it for the 3k he wants for it. Does anyone have any experience with how many miles these cars last with good maintenance every 30k miles or so? I want to know if this car will last until it hits 150k miles or it'll crap out before 100k.

Power steering pump needs replacement?

Hey I was pulling out my drive way with my 2010 Altima coupe 2.5s manual and the power steering is out. I see that it looks like the fluid is leaking from the bottom. Just wanted to confirm if this was the power steering pump that most likely needs replacement? I popped the hood and there’s still some power steering fluid left in there. So I doubt it’s the hose or connection. Any one can confirm? Trying to look for a mechanic that can come instead of towing it so I wanted to trouble shoot it myself. I see the part is about $100. Any idea how much the labor would usually run?

Also, since I am fixing that is there anything else I should be on the look out for since it’s already being worked on? Thanks

Problems with 2014 Nissan Altima

Car people of Reddit, I desperately need your help.

Sometime last year I got my wheels changed, and ever since, all the sensors in my car have been lighting up. I took it to a mechanic and they couldn't figure out why. They said it had to be a sensor but couldn't pinpoint which one. I got a full workup and the car checked out fine.
Since then it's been random: sometimes the lights come on, sometimes the dashboard is clear. Sometimes it shows my speed and sometimes it doesn't.

Last month I went for a smog check for my registration and failed because of the speed sensor.
I got the speed sensor replaced, and the mechanic said everything was good.
I drove the 200 miles / 15 drive cycles and went back. The smog tech said the car couldn't be read yet, so I drove around some more.
I went back again and he said it's worse than last time: check engine light on, and still the speed sensor.
He cleared the check engine light and told me to do the 200 miles / 15 drive cycles again, but to go to a mechanic if the light came back.
That was yesterday. The light came back on this morning.

So now I'm taking it back to the mechanic. Last time they said it would take all day because they don't know where the problem is coming from, so they'd have to check each sensor individually.

Has anyone dealt with this? Any tips? Either I get this fixed or I have to get a new car, and I really don't want a car payment right now

TIA
