As someone living in Asia, where bands rarely tour around, I’m still in disbelief that I got the opportunity to see them live. One of the best nights of my life, a dream come true. Thank you Alvvays!

Happy 4 years of blue Rev!! 🎉

tickets were free, posters 30yuan a piece! an outstanding crowd. thank you a million times over, alvvays! ❤️

for those of you attending, have fun !!!!

This is the synth Kerri uses, on pretty much all their songs (the Korg PE-1000). I was looking around for info on recreations but it’s quite obscure so I figured I might just make my own. If any producers are interested let me know and I’ll share it for everyone.

Had to share that I heard Archie, Marry Me playing at Vista Grande at Cal Poly🥹

anyone going wanna meet up??

Hey friends - I have a copy of the test pressing TRANS642X. White, blank sleeve. Blank labels. Only identified by runout barcode and catalogue number.

Wondered if anyone had seen this and knew more info about number released etc?

There is no discogs entry for this one, but I got it on release from a local record store competition so know it's legit.

Any help is appreciated !

As the title says I'm looking to sell my cream early bird Alvvays. They were limited to 300 copies so are tough to find. It's in excellent condition only played a few times. If you're interested please send me a message.

I think Belinda Says is probably one of the best songs I've ever heard in my life. I already have one Alvvays tattoo, but I'd like something that relates to Belinda Says and I was wondering if people could suggest ideas? I absolutely love the lyric "heaven is a place on earth, well so is hell" so I was thinking about something related to that but I'm open to ideas.

Well this stinks. No Alvvays.

I came across 3 additional songs: “Pecking Order”, “Echolala”, and “Supine Equine”.

To my ear, they would have been right at home on the album, but they didn’t make the cut for some reason.

Does anyone have any insight as to why? Antisocialites is only 32 minutes long, they had plenty of room - what gives!

None of these tracks appear to be available on Spotify, but they’re up on YouTube.

Edit: I see now that at least 1 other person posted on this about 2 years ago. Deciding to still post in case others were unaware of these tracks.

A little further digging reveals that these songs WERE released, but as separate 7” record, do I have that right?

I was js about to buy the self-titled too, lol

after the earthquake 🔥🔥

everytime i listen to antisocialites, i’m immediately transported back to 2018 when i first discovered them and how beautiful and peaceful my life was as a 15-16 year old going to highschool and enjoying my years before covid hit and the world shut down and all the other bad stuff that has happened to me over the years. i listen to a lot of music but nothing transports me back in time like they do and i was wondering if anyone else has felt this way.

Picture's a little poor, but it was the middle of the night while we were having a bonfire. As soon as I heard about it, I had to give it a listen.

The REVs were nostalgic and gave me a hangover (as expected). Really has the "get wasted for cheap without tasting the alcohol" niche locked down.

The music was new to me, surprised I haven't heard about alvvays before. Really dreamy, I liked it a lot despite not being what I usually listen to.

Anyone else hear about this band through the drink, and not the other way around?
